Beautiful little spot for a few pints! Called in on a Monday and it was surprisingly busy all night, constant trickle of people in and out. Bartender is very attentive and charming and kept good tunes going all night.

Savage, experienced barman. Knows his whiskey. There was a few people in when I visited. But he took made sure all his customers got look after and chatted to them all. Will definitely be back to see him

Great place which is tiny but welcoming and a great pint of Guinness. No good if you don't like tight spaces but great staff and made to feel welcome. Never been before but will be back.

I never leave bad reviews, NEVER. But mine comes from multiple experiences in the same bar. I've been to this bar a few times and have always been met by a hugely indifferent verging on cold barman. I have accepted this, probably stupidly but this isn't a new phenomenon. I was recently there with friends who were new to Dublin... More

16 years ago, after studying abroad in Ireland and the Czech Republic, my then girlfriend (now wife) broke up with me on the last day of the trip. The proprietor, Ron Dawson, spent an entire morning and evening talking me out of being an Irish bartender and into going home and becoming an American attorney. The verdict remained out for... Great pint of guinness! It's a nice escape from industrial scale pubs. It's a nice pub for the last pint of the night.

This is a great spot for a nice pint and good conversation. The atmosphere is good however could do with significant refurbishment.

Next up was the Dawson Lounge, a pub the brother wanted to show me, which was situated just around the corner from St Stephens Green. Apparently it’s the smallest pub in Ireland, so yeah I had to see this small boozer. It was very easy to pass by, in fact we did! It has a very small entrance with a... More

Smallest pub but great Guinness. The toilets are a novelty but this is a must see if you visit Dublin. Enjoy!
