    Great, but Sobering Experience
We have spent 5 days touring Dublin sights and this was the best tour we have been on. Our tour guide, Gillian, really brought the stories alive as she described what is was like to live in this house. First as a wealthy family in the 1700's, transitioning to what it was like as a poor family living in a tenement apartment in the later 1800's into the mid 1900's. She wanted us to really feel the experience as she told stories of people who would normally be forgotten. We also learned a lot about societal changes in Dublin over those years. This tour is well worth your time!

This is by far the best guided tour I have ever experienced. Gillian was amazing and so knowledgeable! Whatever question was thrown her way she had all the information you could possibly need. Her passion for the history of Henrietta street was inspiring and moving. Would 100% recommend it is an unmissable experience.

Insightful and engaging social history of Dublin
Excellent tour, providing a really insightful overview of 300 years of social history in Dublin. The tour was made by the passion and knowledge of our tour guide Gillian- who gave life to some of the stories of the many occupants of Henrietta House over the years. Amazing tour!

    A wonderful experience. Thank you.
Such a wonderful experience, for all the senses. Sheila guided us through the history of the house with warmth and humour but solemnity as well. We learnt the history of Dublin through the eyes and experiences of those who lived in this incredible house and we won’t forget it. Thank you.

A visit back in time at 14 Henrietta St, Dublin
This was a brilliant tour back in time to the days of the tenements in Dublin and the families who lived in them. A very knowledgeable Gus (our guide) made it very interesting with the aid of video. A great experience with friendly staff, worth a visit.

Very interesting visit! We found out many interesting facts about Ireland's history through the history of the building over the centuries. The exhibition is well done. Definitely recommendable on a trip to Dublin! One of the highlights of our weekend in the city!

    Visit to 14 Henrietta Street
I visited Henrietta Street Tenement Museum as part of a group. The visit provided a vast amount of information on the living conditions for those who lived in this area up until relatively recently. There is a mix of tour guide and videos and it works really well. Our guide Gillian was absolutely fantastic . There was no doubt in anyone's mind about her knowledge and her passion for her subject. I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in social history.

    Don’t miss this—a Dublin must-see!
Wow! Tour guide Gillian was smart, funny and emotional in telling the story of the people who lived in this Georgian home, from its early days as a home for a wealthy family until 1880-1979, when it was a tenement teaming with 17 families. The house is used effectively as a canvas for historical storytelling, interspersing extravagant furniture with equally valued possessions of those who made the house home in very mean times. The brief videos in each room are effective providers of context and are artfully done. Highly recommended!

My tour was given by Alice. She told the stories about the house really well and helped make the rooms come alive. Really good experience for if you’re interested in the history of the city.

The ticket offers a guided tour of the museum, the building's 300-year history and the history of Dublin itself. Great way to get an accurate timeline of Dublin and Irish history. Definitely worth the price.

I can't recommend this tour enough for anyone interested in the history of life in Dublin City going back to the 1700s and how it changed over the following generations. The format of the tour really brings that history to life. The combination of recounted personal experiences, video inserts and recreated rooms kept us enthralled throughout. Tadhg was a fantastic guide who is clearly passionate about his subject.

We had a fascinating tour of 14 Henrietta street given by Gus. It is amazing how one home can have so many stories over the centuries. The house is impeccably restored and the tour is complete with short film documentaries with poetry, music & photos. It is a beautifully told chronicle. Thank you Gus!!
