If you are looking for a traditional music experience while in Dublin, this is the place. The venus is tiny, crowded, and no frills, but getting there early and enjoying the atmosphere and musical talents of the performers was worth every minute. Word to the...More

It was a bit crowded when I went there on a Sunday evening, but it was lovely, there were some violinists playing and the Guinness was great! What more to ask for when dropping by a pub after dinner? (maybe more chairs and tables)

I found the Cobblestone on Trip Advisor before leaving for Dublin. This pub was exactly what we are looking for. Located on the other side of the river from Temple Bar behind Jameson Distillery, this is a pub frequented by both locals and visitors. Very...More

Traditional Irish music every night in a great atmosphere. Friendly service. It gets very busy and it is best to get there early.

It had been recommended that we go to the Cobblestone because of its music. It was very busy with customers listening to the musicians at the front of the pub. We had gone on a night to attend a special concert in the back room,...More

Best to get there early so can get the best place for the live music. There is a small beer garden in the back and sometimes music back there as well. All in all a fun place for a Saturday night!

Visited with friends on a Sunday evening. A very popular place and very crowded. This place was recommended because it has authentic Irish music. While the musicians weren't bad, they were more enthusiastic than talented. The bar had a good vibe and friendly people, just...More

The Cobblestone off Smithfields Park is a great venue to listen to real Irish music performed by 10 or so drop in muscians. Of course it is also a fine pub , a drinking pub-no food.It most likely will be crowded but that lends itself...More

First time I went to this pub was back in 2013 and I instantly felt in love with it. They don’t serve food but they do have a rich list of craft beers to choose from and proper live Irish music sessions every night. The...More

There was singing as well. A couple people were there just to sing traditional songs, some a'cappella and some with musicians there. Have fun. Amazing place!

I'd give it a google or ring the pub, but would be surprised if they didn't allow children in.
