Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a small craft village near to the town centre and a short drive. There are several shops with the artists present, who are happy to chat.

We bought a lovely giclee print from Michelle Mckee, cards from The Pear in Paper, and rounded off the visit with cake and coffee at the Aroma Café.

We enjoyed our visit but were a little disappointed with the range of products on display, Expected a little more useful household pottery rather than ornamental pieces which could be used as gifts , but not for us.

We had a wonderful experience shopping in this little craft village. Kevin Kavanagh, The potter, was a delight, and we purchased several items from him, is unique and beautiful. The coffee shop there had outstanding pastries and presentation, and I wish we had been hungry because the lunches looked amazing. The glass door also has some unusual items that I’ve not seen before. A few of the shops were closed, but we were there late shoulder season.

Definitely worth a visit to find something besides Irish knitwear and hats.

A few little shops of hand made goods. Walked and enjoyed talking to the artists. The paper printing shop and the hand felting shops were the places we most talked to the artists.

I visited it a few years ago for the last time. There are all small shops with several different crafts like painting, sculpting, baking, making jewels. And... there's also a nice coffee shop.

More than half of the 'craft' shops were closed, and the ones which were open were uninviting. Totally lacking in atmosphere. Gave the impression of being in post-Covid hibernation. Avoid.

Hello, Many thanks for visiting our craft village. We are so disappointed you didn't enjoy your stay. We completely understand your frustration but unfortunately when we are 1 person business, sometimes we have to close our shop to attend family matters. We think your review is very harsh when all we are trying to do is to keep our small businesses going during these hard times. We really do our best and the craft village means alot to us. We love our work and chatting to all our visitors. Now, we may be busy working but please come to us with any questions and we are more than happy to answer them. We hope if you are in the area again please call in and give us another chance.

Lovely little place, much smaller than expected. As it was during Covid very little was open. The glassworks shop definitely worth a look, some fabulous pieces.

I visited the Craft Village for the first time a few days ago having driven past on earlier visits to the area. It was very quiet with only a few people around. I went to have coffee in the cafe but unfortunately they did not serve decaff coffee. More and more people prefer decaff so I was surprised and disappointed.
