Really majestic Golf Course cut out from the dramatic links land surrounding Rosapenna. The course is designed to test your abilities to play as well as to use your imagination. There are very few weak holes and on a rare sunny day the views are astounding. A little something special arrives at the 6th with views across the bay to... More

Although people have been traveling to this remote northwestern corner of Ireland for over a century it really hasn't gotten any easier. Still it is a delight once you settle in. The new Pat Ruddy Sandy Hills is a dynamic rollercoaster of a track pitching up, down and around significant dunes land. The layout is wonderful with great sightlines and... More

The Rosapenna Golf Resort has two wonderful courses as well as a golf academy. Their is a golf pavilion that houses the pro shop and a very nice "19th hole" upstairs. It is the starting point for both courses Sandy Hills is a Pat Ruddy design that is simply spectacular. It has been softened recently but still is a truly... More

True links golf through natural dunes. This course will test your game with sloping lies, different sightlines, wind and green complexes that will challenge your game. You can score well here, but only if you play well - a real treat for keen golfers.

For those with a taste for links golf this is as close to perfect as it gets. The course routes through the high dunes with punishing rough either side of the fairways. The landing areas are mostly fairly generous and you will need a a caddy, course guide or play with a local to show you where to hit it.... More

I recently made a golfing trip with a group of friends playing at Port Salon, Ballyliffin and Rosapenna. The whole trip was wonderful complimented by some great weather and amazing golf courses! I do feel however that The Old Links course at Rosapenna Golf Club deserves a special mention as this course is in my opinion a cut above the... More

This was my second visit to Rosapenna. The first time I played the Old Course on the advise of the receptionist. I was looking for sea views and he recommended the old course. Unfortunately I saw the sea on only two holes. And all in all the old course did not do anything for me. But the Sandy Links course... More

This was round five of a six day/six rounds of golf in the north of Ireland. This was my favorite course of all six. The layout is superb. There is not an unattractive hole on the course. Some of the views from various tee boxes and greens are just magnificent. Either you are looking at the mountains off in the... More

Played the Tom Morris course great links golf. Weather conditions as you would expect grey sky and blustery. Enjoyed the golf. Only one hole with great ocean views for the tourist in me but the golf was great and will have to return to play the 2nd course. Looking forward to the return visit and will stay to discover Downings.... More
