Table service with a varied good value menu, friendly efficient staff. Lovely setting, and good atmosphere. This is a famous golf course. Despite not being golfers we were made very welcome

What a golf club , in a brilliant location , a challenge for even the best golfer the whole layout is well thought out , and every thing kept in great shape even in the weather we had been receiving at the time I was visiting a pity its not nearer to home , well worth a visit even if... More

I traveled from Dublin to the Inishowen Peninsula with a group to play golf at Greencastle and Ballyliffin. What a trip – we all enjoyed our golf at Greencastle, which turned out much better than expected. But Ballyliffin ..... well, what can I say – it was a class apart, just magnificent. We played the Glashedy Links, as opposed to... More

I forgot my golf shoes and a staff member was kind enough to find me a pair that fit. I was happy not to have to purchase another pair as I already have a half dozen. Now the courses are challenging and well maintained. I'll be returning.

We played both courses and enjoyed them immensely. The staff are very friendly and a nice pub upstairs in the clubhouse. Other than the Valley course at Portrush, these were by far the best 2 courses for value on our trip of Ireland. We will definitely go back. Nice traditional links courses.

Just back from Ballyliffin on the Inishowen peninsula on Ireland's north coast. Played the Glashedy course ( as opposed to the Old Course) and can quite honestly say , it was the greatest test of golf I have experienced. I don't have enough time now to give a review that would do the course justice but suffice to say we... More

Spent two nights at Ballyliffin and enjoyed touring around the Inishowen peninsula. Our enjoyment was certainly added to by dining at the Golf Club - we were not playing. The view in the restaurant looking out over the two courses as the shadows got longer was by itself memorable. Our dining experience, from the welcome from the staff, selecting from... More

We were staying in Ballyliffin for a few days and decided to visit this golf club which we could see from our hotel. We didn't play golf on this occassion - we had a meal in the restaurant - the fresh fisn cooked in light crispy batter is easily yhe best fish I have tasted in many years. The service... More

This is one of the best places on earth to be, forget your troubles and to perfect your golf. The friendly staff and the tasty food from the restaurant all add to making this one of the MUST visit golf courses to visit.

Very few places come to mind that a golfer would choose to play for the rest of his/her life, but Ballyliffin is one of them! The great staff makes you feel welcome, and the 2 courses are both terrific. By all means visit Ballyliffin for 2 or 3 days of superb golf!
