2 brilliant golf courses, a clubhouse that could not have been more welcoming - what more could 12 middle-aged men want as a venue for our annual golfing weekend? The courses are both eggcellent links, the Old a classical layout, with the Glashedy on a grander scale with some tough holes carved through the dunes. The staff at the club... More

Thought this course to be in the top ten I have played around the World Very fair challenge on the Old Course fabulous fairways with more moguls than than an Olympic downhill ski run , greens so true fast and fair , the rough not unkind but demanding No wonder Sir Nick Faldo fell in love with this wonderful place... Recently played both the Old course and Glashedy course. Not only a beautiful setting but also a great golf challenge. Two unique and different courses - each offering their own challenges to the golfer. Note the recently redesigned 7th on Glashedy. Can be a driver or wedge! Can understand why Ballyliffin was rated the best 36 hole complex in the... More

It's a journey to get here but what a delight when you do! Two excellent links courses with the Glashedy 18 clearly the star of the two. Despite some adverse weather conditions the smiles never left the faces of our group as we were constantly challenged on every hole. Really top quality 36 holes of golf and the food and... More

My three friends and I played Ballyliffen on Sunday 8th sept and it was everything we expected. We played the Old Links and it proved to be everything we had expected and more. The course interlinked beautifully with Glasheady and you couldn't,t tell which was the older links!. We were lucky to get the first 12 holes in relative calm... More

Played the Glashedy Links course with 3 friends, what an amazing golf course. The quality of each and every hole was truly inspiring. We cannot wait to return to this gift of a golf course. Hopefully the weather will be better and we'll get to play the other course too...... Staff were excellent also. Good food!!!

Amazed at how great both courses are. Have played most of the links courses in Scotland and Ireland, and these two are worth the trip. Plus the clubhouse staff were wonderful, good food in a nice setting.

Played with 2 Friends. So lucky to play the course in such a beautiful day. Everyone from restaurant staff to the 3 different Pro,s we met during our visit - all just excellent. The course is one of my all time favourites. A must to play.
