Favourite pub in Cork

Favourite pub in Cork. Lovely staff and always seems to have a friendly, quirky crowd. Unfortunately, the great interior was closed during covid but I've drank pints in a lane-way before and I have no problem doing it again.

Right next to the English Market. A traditional Irish bar. Cramped and dark but friendly staff, good beer and a terrific atmosphere

Traditional cosy bar.

Okay, it is a little shabby inside but this candle-lit pub has a magic all of it's own - friendly staff, good range of drinks and no TV - just loved sitting in the atmospheric gloom of the far corner: could have cheerfully stayed there all day with a good book! This was our 2nd vist to Cork and the Mutton Lane Inn remains our favourite drinking spot.

Just came here to meet a friend and leave but got talking to some of the bartenders and the patrons and I decided to stay. Great atmosphere. Two of the staff I remember are Sarah and jacky I think. Very helpful, good Craic, definitely will be returning. Keep up the stuff lads

I used to love this pub year ago and visited it today with friends - great atmosphere but was terrible staff. Two male bartenders - asked for 3 Irish coffees and when my friend complained the coffee was lukewarm he didn't react so she asked if she could have some boiling water so he took her Irish coffee and stuck it under the burco and then handed it back without a word - it looked like a flat white. When we tried to order another drink the bartender in the wooly hat grunted and disappeared - after some time when he didn't reappear we left and went elsewhere. Pity as I like the pub but I won't be visiting it again.

Went here bymyself and didin't expect to have this good of a time. Jamie rhe bartender was great, gave Irish history lessons, introduced me to amazing new beers, and made me laugh often.

It felt like being part of a family in there and it was the perfect size, relaxed but not too much.

Thanks Jamie and the rest of the crew, will definitley be back in the future.

The Mutton Lane is by far the greatest bar in the city. The staff make it a home from home. Popped in on Monday to avoid the rain, Rebecca and Jackie were great craic. Ended up staying even when the rain stopped

Me and Becky found this place hiding from the rain and are so glad that we did. The smells and light of candles lighting the Inn was superb and the barman was so friendly. A must for traditional pub lovers

Myself and my husband were recently in the mutton lane inn. I must say the staff were amazing. They were very friendly and Jackie and Rebecca had great knowledge of local craft beers. My husband loved sunbean lager. Was nice to get out of the rain the pub is very welcoming
