Popped into costa downstairs in merchants quay shopping centre to grab a morning coffee and a cheese and tomato toastie for breakfast before setting off shopping. Service was very fast efficient and friendly and we sat in lovely comfortable armchairs . My toastie was beautiful and full of flavour and not like your normal cheese and tomato toastie. It was more of a tomato and herb sauce that you,d get on a top class pizza , it was devine and it was covered with a béchamel sauce and more cheese on top. Absolutely delicious in fact so tasty we went back there for refreshments and lunch when we finished our shopping. Lovely place with plenty of seating.

You have seen one you have seen them all, there is no character in these places now, just a functional place. There are two cafes here both rather expensive, so bought food in M&S 6 Euros against about 20 Euro for the same items.

I tried charging my EV at one of your parking spots at Merchants Quay in Cork on 25/05.
I attempted to park my EV here,I downloaded the app, registered and validated payment 3 times, but your app failed on all occasions. I was left stranded.. also Apcoa phone line was constantly engaged.
Apcoa took 3 payments of 45 euro from my account , extremely poor service.
Insult to injury, charged 3.50 for parking.

Today I was doing some shopping in store with my family. The way the manager treated her staff was absolutely disgusting. Retail staff as I know I work retail myself can be hard enough around the Xmas season. But how I saw the management treating the staff today was beyond comprehensible. Asked a member of staff to leave using hand gestures as the gentleman in question who I had the pleasure of encountering on a previous trip to the store. Mannerly and very accommodating. I saw the staff member have to leave mid shift, as if this time of year I already hard for retail staff! Absolutely disgusting behaviour by who I can only assume is the manager. I dropped everything, took my kids and will not be shopping here anymore! The manager in question (I don't know her name) should be absolutely ashamed of her behaviour! And I will be telling my other family members to steer clear of this store! Once again horrendous behaviour by mananagment. Will not be returning! It's Christmas and not one bit of Christmas spirit lie here.

We stopped for a coffee here and enjoyed a cappuccino.
The staff were very nice and the restaurant was clean with an attractive decor - but best of all, the cappuccino was super!

This is an older shopping centre located in the city centre with a car park attaching thereto.
While the centre is old there is still plenty of shops inside including a Dunnes Stores and also a Dealz.

This shopping centre had good parts and parts which could be improved.
There is a fair variety of shops and places to eat. Apart from the Costa it is very hard to get seating in the eateries.
There is a Ticketmaster unit which is very handy for avoiding online charges.
The toilets are difficult to get to, to get into and I would not be sure that all activity in them is of a lavatorial nature!
It is not a shopping centre I would feel 100% safe in.
Staff in the shops I go to and Costa are generally ruder than average which is a bit of a turn off.
