Ceili by the Lee is a traditional Irish social gathering. It's hard to be all things to all people, but we try our best: whether you want to learn to dance in the old Irish style, get fit, make new friends, or simply have the craic we have you covered! Combining the hectic energy of a party in an ocean liner steerage with the nostalgia of a Gaeltacht days fado, this is an activity that won't disappoint! Neither aptitude nor experience is required, as our MC is renowned for turning two left feet into a matching pair. Sooooo great experience!
It's a great experience in Cork, whether you're just passing through or are a regular student, whether you're an English speaker or not, there's a place for everyone! Each lesson with Ceili by the Lee is a real moment of laughter and great results! Damian is charismatic and gifted at getting everyone involved in a great state of mind! Well done to him!

What a memorable experience with Irish music, dance, and lots of laughter!
This was such a fun experience! Instructor was so kind and welcoming, and showed us through all the steps. You then practice these with traditional Irish music so it is not long before you get into the Irish spirit! Next time we are in Cork we will DEFINITELY return! It's a great place to meet new people too, and create very special memories that you will cherish forever. We shared some good laughs too, and it is so rewarding once you practice the dance as a group towards the end. GREAT FUN! Can't recommend this enough!!

It was an amazing experience, a must-do when in Cork! Great atmosphere and teacher, I’m definitely going to join again! Admission is only 5 EUR and no booking required.
