Had a couple of drinks here when staying nearby. It was quite busy when we arrived but we got seats. However, a show at St Lukes across the road finished up about 10.30pm and the place got totally packed then so we left shortly after....More

This is one of those old pubs with a character. It's warm, cozy, and you can get lost inside. It has a lot of beautiful spaces to sit and have a nice talk. A true taste of Ireland

We were lucky to have this pub just around the corner from our hotel (the Ambassador). Lots of choice of drinks. Pint and a half of Murphy's cost 7.20 E (close enough to £7.20). Live music started at 10.30/11.00 pm. Excellent band: Two Time Polka...More

Hencheys has become a very popuilar spot with all ages and the selection of drinks helps., The staff are very friendly and helpful always and would always try to get there for a drink when I am in Cork.

Pooped in here on a Saturday night with my cousin. Very busy with a band in one of the rooms. Friendly place and stays open quite late.

Pub near our BnB and decided to eat locally instead of walking into the city. Pleasant glass of wine and nice, easygoing atmosphere but no food served at all. Disappointing. Many Irish pubs, unlike English ones, have retained their focus on drinks and not moved...More
