The library is a pleasant place which houses the Rory Gallagher music collection with memorabilia of the musician. It also has exhibitions, readings etc. It is a pleasant place to read and rest your legs.

I went to the cork city central libary 18 of august 2018 Location is on the grand parade Just up from bishop lucy park It has the largest collection of books I has 5 departments from references locial studies etc but most of all music section Thats wher i was heading to see one of our all time greats Rory gallagher collection and history you can listen to a varied collections of music in the thomas davis room I was delighted to see rorys gutiars & programs on view well worth a visit if you in and around cork city centre Open times are for lending music& childrens departments are mon to sat10.am to5.30.pm Locial studies from wed to sat 10.am to 5.30pm For reference dept tue to sat 10.am to 5.30pm Eir code T12NT99 if you have mobile for google maps to guide you their 57/61 Grand prade cork city Not to be missed you will enjoy you visit Take your time and plan you own tour Kind regards Billy Arnold Ireland
