The itinerary you built for us was outstanding! The only thing you could have possibly done better, was tell us you had arranged for the BEST Tour Guide in all of Ireland to be our driver. Paul Daly made our trip the best it possibly could have been. From his airport introduction to the big hug he gave each one of us upon our departure, Paul was an 11 out of 10.
Paul's knowledge of Ireland along with his charismatic personality made our entire trip not only interesting, but also very humorous!!!!

From start to Finish Butlers Tours is in your corner collaborating with you to formulate the best tour of Ireland within your customized set of parameters. I can’t say enough about their informative and responsive communication throughout the planning process. Once our tour began, that same level of exceptional service we had come to expect was delivered. Our bus was very clean and comfortable and perfectly sized for our group of 11. Our Driver/Guide, James Buckley was fantastic. More than a Driver/Guide; James was extremely knowledgeable, had all the “connections” and was happy and eager to answer any of our questions and enthusiastically share his love of Ireland and its rich history. We were able to see all of our planned destinations and a few extra along the way as recommended by James. What made our travel experience all that more special is that James, and everyone we encountered at Butlers ( to include Claire and team behind the scenes), treated us like Family. I can’t recommend Butlers enough for your Tour/Transportation needs in Ireland!!

I want to extend a word of deep appreciation to the team at Butlers regarding our Nov 10-18 travels in Ireland/Northern Ireland. We had not contracted with Butler’s before our Nov 2023 trip, but were impressed at every turn with their responsiveness to emails, attentiveness to details, and capacity to meet our last-minute requests. Claire McCarthy was a dream to work with, and I’m so grateful for her excellence. Our driver, John Donovan was an excellent driver and tour guide, and my group appreciated his presence and excellence throughout the week. Thank you for your good work, Butlers, and we will certainly highly recommend Butlers to anyone.

We had an amazing trip! We cannot stop bragging to all of our friends and family how ButlersTours made it so special for us. We were able to see so much more than we ever expected. On top of how easy to work with and accommodating the company is, we were absolutely delighted with our driver/guide John! There are not enough praises to give to explain how wonderful he is and how good he is at what he does. He made the trip every bit of a fantastic experience! Like something out of a dream or as cheesy at is may sound, a hallmark movie.
Our last days back in Dublin, touring around, visiting museums and monuments, we continued to comment how “John told us this.”, or “Now it all makes sense with what John had already said.”. His knowledge seems endless. His kindness and understanding is a testimony to the company and why it is so great. Offering us so many personalized options as he got to know us more each day. Making adjustments to ensure all were satisfied with each daily schedule of events. Remembering little details about each one of us or our families, from a previous conversation.
One of our absolute favorite parts of the experience was his singing. As we drove through beautiful towns, hills, and valleys, his songs were mesmerizing. At times they became lullaby’s against the warm sun or sound of rain, and gently rocked some to sleep, even if only for a moment.
Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity of a life time. One we will all remember forever.

Butlers Tours was amazing! Our driver, Dick Daley, was thoughtful, attentive, a wealth of information, and made sure we had the time of our lives. Butlers took care of all of the details, and not only was our trip customized to our wishes, but there was room for unplanned excursions on the fly. Some of our fondest memories are of the stops that weren't on the itinerary. I couldn't recommend this tour company more, and will use them again should we ever return to Ireland.

Butlers was awesome to work with. This was my 60th birthday trip with my husband, our grown daughter and my aunt. From a year ago when I contacted them, Martina had gone above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. I probably drove her crazy with my 100’s of emails with questions, concerns, changes etc. She was always professional, full of information and extremely quick to respond. Everything was in perfect order when it came time for our trip. The only unfortunate thing was we didn’t get to meet her.
Our driver was Liam, oh Liam!! Within an hour of him picking us up, we knew he was perfect for us. The knowledge, sense of humor and emotion this man has for his country is immeasurable. We all hit it off immediately, especially when I learned he and I shared the same birthday and we’re both left handed. We pretty much followed our itinerary for the most part, but there was always a side trip, experience or view Liam wanted us to see, which was so appreciated. Even the visit to our great grandfathers grave, he spoke to the groundsmen to help us locate his resting place, never rushed us and was right out there in the rain helping us look.
I wanted to shear a sheep, it wasn’t the season, but he did take us to a sheep auction, how cool that was. Liam was full of suggestions and information, which we all loved. We learned so much about Ireland and its history having Liam as our driver. The intimacy of just the four of us with him made it so much better. We will always remember Liam and the fun we had with him, saying good bye was so difficult. Liam, until we meet again!! Thank you for sharing your love and knowledge of your country with us.

We had an amazing experience with Butlers Tours. Our tour guides, Paul and Jerome, were absolutely wonderful. They were informative, personable, and reliable. We knew we were in good hands with them both.
While we only had Paul for one day, he put forth a great effort to point out monuments, schools, and other sights, and shared small facts about the towns we drove through that we wouldn't have known otherwise. He encouraged us to see Clonmacnoise and we were so happy he took us there, as it was such a special sight.
Jerome was a pleasure to have for the remainder of our trip. He always made sure we were comfortable, and that we saw everything we wished to see on our itinerary. He also shared information about the areas we were driving through and provided us with recommendations for pubs and restaurants, which we truly appreciated! He helped us to coordinate our plans so that we were able to do and see everything seamlessly. He was extremely patient and flexible with our group and had some great stories to share. We always felt safe in his hands. He totally made our trip!
I can't recommend Butlers Tours enough, and when we return to Ireland in the future, we will certainly work with them again. Thank you for everything!!

My husband and I went on the Wild Atlantic Way tour. We have some physical challenges, but due to our guide, James Buckley, we were able to see and do more than we could ever have done on our own. He gave us invaluable insight into Irish life, culture and history. Thank you James and Butlers Tours.

We booked our tour with "Martina" at Butler Tours for our recent trip to Ireland. Martina took all the suggestions of places we wanted to see and visit and she was able to put it all together in a beautiful "well-scheduled" tour for us! We were a group of 8 ladies from Texas and Martina booked us on a mini bus that held seats for 14, so we had the whole bus to ourselves and were able to spread out and have our own row on the bus! We started in Dublin and had a 8 day tour all through the south and southwest parts of Ireland and returned back to Dublin airport. I wanted to visit my Irish cousins while we were there and Martina made it possible to schedule that into the tour. Our driver was "Richard" and he was fantastic! He was very professional, punctual, and fun and accommodating!! He really made our trip special!! Butlers arranged the entire trip including the tours, activities, and hotels. The hotels were all in the "city center" so that made it very easy to walk to restaurants, pubs, and shopping! The hotels were very nice and clean, and they all had delicious full Irish breakfasts every morning included in the cost of your room! Everything went smoothly!! We had no snags or problems at all! We all would highly recommend Butler Tours!! Special thanks to "Martina" and to "Richard" our driver!!

From Martina in the office, helping us book, providing suggestions on sights and cities, to Des our friendliest most knowledgeable driver, Butlers Tours has been in our every conversation when reminiscing excitedly about our trip. Hi, we will be in Ireland end of March and would like to hire a vehicle that would accommodate 8 adults +luggage. We will go from Dublin to Galway stay one night then drive the coast to Cliff of Moher and continue down to Killimer to head to Killarney and stay there a couple of days and eventually back to Dublin. Please let me know info about cost, etc.

we are a small group of 6 people looking for a 5-6 day tour of southern ireland starting in Dublin on monday sept 30,2019,returning to Dublin on friday October 4th, or Saturday morning. i would be grateful for any information about itineraries, cost, accommodation options etc . we are all keen to visit a couple of whiskey distilleries as well as the sights of Ireland! thank you!

We also booked with Butlers and I can't say enough good things! John Stapleton was our driver and he was a delight. We were a group of 13 people. We booked our rooms ourselves and shared our itinerary with the company. John was great about making additional recommendations and calling ahead to get reservations for us. Our bus tour was about $310 each for 7 days--we paid for hotels separately. We began in Dublin, went to a farmhouse outside Killarney, 2 nights at an AirBnb in Kinsale, spent a night in Dingle, then 2 in Galway and then back to Dublin. It was the most amazing trip!

Do you have a photo (not just a schematic) of the inside of the smallest van. We are concerned about fitting 6 adults in the third row with three seats. We will be on a long day trip from Cobh up to Killarney and back to Cobh and want to be comfortable.

Butlers will send you a picture on your email address. Just to note the seats in the Class A VIP minivan are wider than a standard car seat so should comfortably fit three adults.

Hi..we are coming into Cobh on April 27th on Celebrity Eclipse...so we have limited time. I have copied a company that does private tours for what we are looking for...does not have to be exact...but we are fine in a group tour. Can you tell us if you have something along these lines.
