Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The staff here was super helpful and gave us great recommendations on things to do and how to use the public transport. The guy we talked to seemed to be genuinely proud of his community and like he enjoyed sharing it, which is always nice to see and a good feeling. If you've got free time in Cork and you're not sure how to spend it, you should swing by and get some pointers.

This tour is an overpriced waste of time. It does not run at a frequency that allows for a hop-on, hop-off basis. It does not meet the criteria which it sets out, as people cannot travel easily between attractions since there is no guarantee that there will be room to board the bus, that passengers will be able to hear the recording or see the attractions, or that they will be able to return to their destination because of the overcrowding and infrequency.

shame this isn't advertised more. I live locally and didn't know we had one. I'm very interested in local walks, history, and events. They would do more work on promoting such things.

This Information centre is staffed by delightful helpful and knowledgable staff. Recently helped me find a Kite for my sons Birthday, as I couldn't carry it on board Ryan Air flight. Now as everything is closed down due to the dreadful Covid 19, I hope they will keep their chins up, and we will all be able to travel to lovely Cork, have dinner in my favourite restaurant Market Lane, followed by visiting The Castle restaurant and Observatory at Blackrock very soon, Please take great care of yourselves and you at Trip Advisor too,

We called here just after we arrived in Cork to ask for ideas on what to do.We found an extremely helpful person, Anthony, who took the time to make many suggestions that he thought would be suitable for us. Among his suggestions was a visit to Nano Nagle's Place, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We wanted to go to Kinsale so he suggested that when we were there we could take the Local Link Bus, which we had never heard of, to Clonakilty. This went via Old Head and the coast and was very interesting. He was able to suggest so many places in Cork for us to see that it would encourage us to visit again

To get a map of Cork, or dining suggestion, a visit to the Tourist Information Center is very helpful. It’s a small town, so walking to any venue is very easy. And there are always Taxi’s.

Stopped by for directions and assistance just before closing time. The gentleman was extremely helpful and understanding. Took the time to provide really easy directions and suggested a bus route, too.

We will be arriving on October 7 via Norwegian Breakaway Cruise ship. What would be the best way to see the attractions of the area ?

Hello,
Some time ago, my son and daughter in law visited Kingdom Bar, a short distance from Barlney Castle. The people there were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, they forgot in what town the bar was located in. We are traveling to Ireland the end of February, and would like to visit Kingdom Bar. Is it possible for you to tell me where this bar is located.
Thank you for whatever help you are able to give me.

Planning on visiting Cork in March to see our daughter who will be studying at UCC.We've read so much about Cork and that 2 days there is plenty.Still need to book a hotel in Cork for us.We have toured Ireland in the past but looking for advice how much time we really should alot for Cork & what should not be missed while there.Def will see UCC with her & Blarney Castle. We will be traveling outside Ireland after Cork with her as well.Still not sure where else we should visit but thinking Germany or South of France. Any advice would be great and appreciated.Ive posted in a prior post that we have been to Paris & London also.

Apparently my husband contacted you. I'm not sure about which tour. We will be there on 8/27 aboard the Royal Princess. We were to Ireland before so we don't want to go to Blarney Castle. The on & off tour bus sounds like just the thing for us. How far is the ship? Are there picks up from there?
Thanks for your time.
