Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Sunday Mass every week at 10:00 AM, is in the Irish Language and is very special. It is
well worth a visit. The building is, for all intents, an Art Gallery, with a display of the best architecture, sculpting, painting and stained glazing.

Very nice church to visit. The stained glass windows are beautiful as well as the vaults. I strongly recommend visiting it if you are visiting Cork. In addition, it is located in the city center, not far from the shopping streets of the city.

I am not catholic, not religious at all for that matter, but I stumbled across this church by accident and was attracted to the buildings beauty which I saw from the main street. Once inside the most amazing feeling of peace came over me, I’ve never felt so calmed. What a beautiful place and the wood carvings and stained glass windows are breathtaking. I wish I had stayed longer.

St. Peter and Paul church is a religious building located in Cork, the most important city in the South of Ireland. It was built in the 19th Century as the Roman Catholic Church in a gothic revival style. It is nice and we could enter to see it, where we could see the main hall. Ok.

Beautiful Catholic Church in the center of the city right off St Patrick’s St. Offers mass in Irish, Latin and English. We celebrated mass this past Sunday there and felt very welcomed. Though we did experience a woman begging for money after mass on the steps.

A large church which I happened to see whilst wandering around the city. The were a few people praying inside, and there was definitely a feeling of peace and tranquility in the building which was good to feel - a sort of Holiness within. Like other churches in Cork it was clean and the chapels look used and all in good decorative state. Impressive chancel and good stained glass windows. Very glad I happened to stumble upon this church.

I was drawn to this church I live in London. And I got a mass said for my mother who passed away . And when I had the mass there one of my cousins said that our grandparent were married in this beautiful church . So I wanted to have a look at my grandparents marriage cert . So on my next visit I went to the church . And I spoke to paddy on archive . That he was so busy on that day and he gave me a brief . Of my grandparent marriage certificate. And he said that he would forward the documents when he had more time . So to my amazement about 2 weeks later when I arrived home . I reciev3d a Evenlode with all my family history in it . He went back 150 years of my family as they were all married and baptised in saint peter and Paul's. . I just want say thank you so much for all this information that he has given me . I was really amazing for me to receive it . And thank you so much God bless

We stopped in during our personal walking tour around Cork. The church has a pretty interior and is a nice quite place to pray.. This is an active church, so they do have mass. Check the schedule if you are looking to stop in.

This is an exceptionally beautiful church. It is quite old style but is a haven of peace in the busy city. Mass in Latin is celebrated here regularly.

AW Pugin churches are usually particular favourites of mine, and this one's a gem. Other than the change made as a result of Vatican II (the congregation facing altar), this is pretty much unreconstructed, and very Victorian Gothic. Lots of dark wood, and carvings.

A quiet place to take a moment to contemplate the divine (however you perceive it), and to light a candle. A moment's respite in the busy city streets.
