Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

YES! Walk over the Shakey Bridge! We visited the Goal and then took a nice little walk down the hill and over this bridge to the delightful Fitzgerald park on the other side. Made the walk way more fun and interesting for my kids!

Just when you leave Fitzgerald Park, you find this quaint bridge, which is really shaky, when you get to the middle of it! The views of the bridge and while you're on it are amazing!

A fun game played by locals so for three of them to head onto the middle of the bridge. They all stand in a line. The two on the outside hold pints of beamish above their head and the middle member jumps 4 times. Because it is a suspension bridge there is a lot of vibration. Witch ever member spills more beamish is the loser and must buy the group a bull round in the next bar they visit.

This is a lovely old pedestrian bridge spanning the River Lee down by FitzGerald's Park and the Mardyke.
It's a suspension bridge and its charm is that if you stand in the middle of it and start shaking yourself from side to side while holding the railing, the whole bridge starts rocking.
Wait until there's a few others on it and scare the cr** out of them, haha!

We Corkonians wouldn't know Daly's Bridge but "the shakey bridge"! So, make sure to ask for the latter one. Opened in 1927, this suspension bridge brings you from Fitzgerald's Park over the river Lee to the northside of Cork.
