University College Cork is one of Ireland’s most prestigious universities. It boasts a vibrant, modern campus with a student experience second to none in Ireland. A learning community where the student is at the heart of everything and the special relationship between student and lecturer is primary to our unique ethos. The campus is located a mere ten minutes walk from the heart of Cork city, a former European Capital of Culture. Cork is listed as a top ten location in the Lonely Planet guide which states it “has always had an unshakeable self-confidence and innate sense of pride”, a description which is equally applicable to the University itself

JP Quinn gave an outstanding tour of UCC through the visitors office on a Saturday afternoon. Truly outstanding, informative....Boolean algebra so fascinating ...I have imprinted like a goose on the 0-1 algebra theory. Historical, relevant, educational.

Well worth visiting. For a relatively new university, the campus grounds were beautifully kept, with an abundance of flower beds. The stream that one crosses when entering at the main entrance addes a lovely touch.

I enjoyed walking around the campus and visiting some of the buildings. I had lunch in the student cafeteria and saw a display in the Library.

Great views and such a beautiful setting. The buildings were beautiful and such large grounds to look around. Also a little church near by where there was a wedding when we were there

This University has a lovely campus with interesting buildings. The grounds include green walks with a stream. There is an old observatory from 1880.
