University College Cork is one of Ireland’s most prestigious universities. It boasts a vibrant, modern campus with a student experience second to none in Ireland. A learning community where the student is at the heart of everything and the special relationship between student and lecturer is primary to our unique ethos. The campus is located a mere ten minutes walk from the heart of Cork city, a former European Capital of Culture. Cork is listed as a top ten location in the Lonely Planet guide which states it “has always had an unshakeable self-confidence and innate sense of pride”, a description which is equally applicable to the University itself

We are staying quite close to the campus so we decided to walk around. A tour happened to be starting and we were encouraged to join. We have 2 kids in college so we've been on a lot of college tours in the US the past few years. This was an excellent tour to learn the history of the college!... More

Don't miss the Ogham Stones. Ancient artifacts you can get up close and personal with-just don't touch them!

We went for a UCC guided tour with the guide O'Brian. It's a very good tour with a bit of history of Ireland and of Cork and its University. The guide will take you to some rooms you can't enter on your own, including the observatory to see the telescopes. There are superstitious reasons why everything is so neat inside... More

UCC has fond memories for me as I studied here for my primary degree. The grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is truly unique. Anyone visiting Cork must visit this campus. I believe it is the most beautiful university in Ireland.

Recently dropped of my 18 year old off at UCC to begin his studies. We spent nearly a week. I've heard many positive things about UCC for well over a decade...a dear friend has worked with American study abroad programs for many years - she has spent much time there & had sent hundreds of students to UCC. My son... More

I did not go back after such a bad experience which is such a pity as there is a lovely ambience there. The Staff were more interested in talking amongst themselves rather than dealing with the customer. Afterall when i was there its not if as it was packed as it was after 2pm so the big crowd would have... More
