University College Cork is one of Ireland’s most prestigious universities. It boasts a vibrant, modern campus with a student experience second to none in Ireland. A learning community where the student is at the heart of everything and the special relationship between student and lecturer is primary to our unique ethos. The campus is located a mere ten minutes walk from the heart of Cork city, a former European Capital of Culture. Cork is listed as a top ten location in the Lonely Planet guide which states it “has always had an unshakeable self-confidence and innate sense of pride”, a description which is equally applicable to the University itself

Well worth the time to visit this great college. The grounds are beautiful as are the old storied buildings. Never went into many of the buildings but did cruise through on of the open ones. The river is adjacent so lots of trees, flowers and green grass. Don't pass this up if you are in Cork

Great historical location, scenic walking routes by the river, beautiful campus with all mods and cons. Lots of handy shops on site. Open for public events and has regularly operating gallery.

Went on a run through the UCC on a Saturday morning. The buildings are something out of a movie. Lots of history- definitely worth a walk through!

Great experience! Do a little bit of research befre you go, so you don't end up just with a quick walk through the campus, no matter how beautiful it is. There is definitely lot to see. The stone collection at the Main Quad, award winning Glucksman Gallery, Honan Chapel... So much to see!
