University College Cork is one of Ireland’s most prestigious universities. It boasts a vibrant, modern campus with a student experience second to none in Ireland. A learning community where the student is at the heart of everything and the special relationship between student and lecturer is primary to our unique ethos. The campus is located a mere ten minutes walk from the heart of Cork city, a former European Capital of Culture. Cork is listed as a top ten location in the Lonely Planet guide which states it “has always had an unshakeable self-confidence and innate sense of pride”, a description which is equally applicable to the University itself

UCC is one of the oldest colleges in Ireland and many of the old buildings remain. It is a beautiful walk around campus and if the ARt Museum is open, then go in as it has very interesting exhibits.

Historical, beautiful, up to date amenities. I would love for my son to attend medical school here! The grounds are beautiful and manicured, the buildings are well maintained. It is a beautiful walk.

UCC is located centrally in Cork City and has a branch of the River Lee running through it. Much of it is a rabbit warren of buildings, many of which are functional rather than aesthetically pleasing. That said, the old university buildings in the centre...More

Ucc has truly amazing grounds and gardens well worth a trip to see them in full bloom or in beautiful autumnal colours. Ucc is always alive with people young and old so much history to see and hear about.
