University College Cork is one of Ireland’s most prestigious universities. It boasts a vibrant, modern campus with a student experience second to none in Ireland. A learning community where the student is at the heart of everything and the special relationship between student and lecturer is primary to our unique ethos. The campus is located a mere ten minutes walk from the heart of Cork city, a former European Capital of Culture. Cork is listed as a top ten location in the Lonely Planet guide which states it “has always had an unshakeable self-confidence and innate sense of pride”, a description which is equally applicable to the University itself

University College Cork well worth a visit. The Honan Chapel on the site is a Hiberno Romanesque Chapel built on style of Romanesque in early 1920's. It is a gem of a chapel with delightful Stained Glass windows by the famous stained glass artist Harry Clarke. The actual Quad of the University with stone corridor quite unique. And the award... Oh what a treat in our own wonderful City of Cork by the Lee to be able to stroll through the wonderful grounds of this fine old establishment. You cannot but be impressed and awed by the buildings and grounds and the walk down by the river of an evening. I nearly broke out in song thinking back about my... More

Old building surrounded by green area; perfect for summer walk in Cork! My partner work for university planning, thus it is always interesting for us to visiting universities on the city that we visited. University of Cork is one of the best to spend an afternoon at. Nice stroll along the campus to see how old building function to accommodate... More

This is a vibrant university with a rich past and a promising future. The main campus is lovely; it sits on the banks of a tributary of the river Lee which flows through the charming City of Cork. The first professor of mathematics at UCC (then Queen's College) was the genius Boole to whom we owe--ultimately--computer science.

I was living on Mardyke Walk st. which is next to UCC, It is kind of place that you can go and walk inside just to relax ! All students in UCC are lucky that they have that beautiful nature inside the universe.

I love this campus. The buildings are beautiful and I love the greenery. It removes you from the city and is rather peaceful. It's a nice getaway spot!
