Fantastic Food Hall that will not disappoint!
We arrived with high expectations and loved it. Great range of food vendors with great local produce and warm conversation. We particularly went for cheese and breads...and were delighted in the days that followed with our purchases. It was one of the reasons we went to Cork...so don't miss this!

    Just amazing
AMAZING From staying in Blarney we were recommended to stop here while in Cork City. This place was amazing. Fabulous selection of fresh fish, meats, chocolate, pates , bread and oils and flowers. Unfortunately we wanted to buy everything but we couldnt as we were not able to eat everything.

Lovely fresh food to buy here
While strolling around Cork we came to the English Market. A permanent market in a lovely place , all under cover. Made one hungry just walking through the place . Lots of fish, meat ,vegies and fruit. Great vibe in there. We bought some figs, very nice . A place to spend a bit of time in Cork

One of the better food markets in Ireland. Great variety of seafood, vegetables, spices, breads, chocolates, and cooked foods. Most vendors give out samples. Worth a visit to get a true Irish feel with many of the locals.

    Olives galore!
A great one hour stop, grab some treats and take in the experience! Leave time to walk around Cork shops. Park at the garage near the English Market and you have great walking experiences. I loved the huge selection of olives!

    Interesting to visit
All the stalls were fun and steeped in rich history. Would definitely recommend for a trip to Cork City but not as much to see as we had hoped. We went by ourselves but I imagine a guided tour would be very interesting. The food there was okay, nothing spectacular. No complaints

    Fresh FRV, Meat and Seafood
An experience on its own with a lot of fruit and vegetable stalls. A number of butchers selling pork, beef and lamb - looks as fresh as you can get. The meat stalls are reasonably priced as its for Irish farms.

    Great experience and food!
This was a fascinating step back in time as far as the venue is concerned but so many foods to try! We ate breakfast upstairs in the restaurant and the food was incredible. It was chilly in there, but they had blankets so no worries! Take the time to see it. It is well worth the time.

Cork is famous for the English Market, which has a wide selection of cheese and artisan products from Ireland and European sources. The English Market serves local customers and international visitors. You can buy a wide range of artisan products such as cheese and olives at a reasonable price. The English Market is a well-known feature of the city of Cork, which is a famous alternative to Dublin in the south of Ireland for shopping and culture.

Great place to see a wide range of local produce. I loved seeing all the fresh fish and seafood. There’s a nice cafe up on the second floor and a wide range of stalls selling all sorts of yummy treats.

A good option to walk around if it’s raining!

Fascinating to see the workings of the shops and all of their contributions. Children were interested in seeing the butchers carve steak in front of them. Fairly priced too for what we saw.

An amazing food market. Here, among fifty plus stalls, you will likely find amidst the usual, exotic food items that will leave you astounded. While wandering around open mouthed, make this also an excuse to sit down for a moment, and partake of some of the many sumptuous delights available.

Nice to walk through but not a lot we could buy as tourists without a kitchen. It was a bit smaller than I expected. Still worth it if you’re in the area. We did park at a parking garage that was very close.

You can come here to buy food to take home and cook, or you can come here to wander around and take in all the sights and smells. Either way, it's great to visit.
