You can visit the Old Gaol with a very well done brochure where you can follow your visit step by step understanding what you are seeing.

Interesting experience to see what prison life was like years ago. We also visited the Radio museum whilst at the Gaol. Not so impressed with that however, give it a miss if you go there.

An interesting and informative day out. A little steep at 8 Euro per person but it's well restored and the way they've used actual characters to help you understand the conditions at the time is very good.

Such an experience! Well preserved location and tours are offered throughout the day. Despite all of the history involved...it is quite a lovely spot! Not to be missed!

Hi Michael, 5pm is our last admission time unless we have an evening event then it may be slightly earlier. I would recommend contacting us before your visit just in case.
