Brilliant day tour to Giants Causeway. Lots of stops along the way for comfort breaks and other attractions - Dark Hedges, Titanic and a black cab tour of Belfast. Excellent lunch break too all organised with expert precision by our driver Richard O’Brien who kept a smile on our faces throughout the day with his cheeky banter. Also advised us to switch our second day tour so that we would get the most out of our time in Ireland - a top tip that didn’t disappoint.

I went with two 10 yo kids on the Daytrip Giants' Causeway, The dark hedges, Belfast...it was very good and thanks to our tour guide Richard O'Brien also fun for my two too:-) He involved them which was really nice and we learned a lot. It was a great tour and i would definately recommend Paddywagon Day tours and tourguide Richard. We are not really tourists but chose to do the tours as midterm break adventure which we'd highly recommend and will recommend to our friends and family to do too. It was super!

This office and company not only discriminated against my fiance because of her allergies, but we didn't even get refunded for the booking they wouldn't allow us on like they promised. To be clear, they wouldn't allow us on the bus, we were promised a refund, and we didn't get it.

We had problems with this office over email before the trip but after speaking with their head office in Dublin over the phone, we thought things got cleared up and that my fiance would be accommodated for her allergies. Upon arriving at the pickup location the morning of the tour, the tour guide said he couldn't do what most airlines do and request that passengers not consume nuts because "most of them don't speak english".

He knew we were supposed to be going on the tour and disclosed that he just ate nuts that morning followed by stating that because my fiance was deathly allergic to nuts that for "health and safety" he could not allow us on the bus (for the tour we paid for).

When trying to rectify the situation with an employee in the tour company office, they refused to help as well. They told us the only other option was a Private tour (costing 5 times the price of this tour) or to take public transit. The woman at the office promised a refund would be made and that she would expedite the process by contacting head office.
I took this woman at her word but after many emails since the 18th of August, we have not received our refund and they have not replied to any of our communication requests or emails.

The good - if you have no allergies, you can have a reasonable costing bus tour to the cliffs of Moher
The bad - they will not give your money back and will not reply to any electronic communication. They probably will not even reply to this review.

I would not recommend this company especially not from their Cork office. This experience has left my fiance feeling like she will never return to Ireland at all.

When our cruise ship went to Ringaskiddy instead of Cobh, we decided to take a tour to make it less stressful. We signed up for the small group tour that promised a drive through Cork and listed the attractions we would see, Blarney Castle, Middleton Distillery and time to explore Cobh at the end. Our receipt said “This shore excursion is operated by Irish cruise specialist, Elegant Irish Tours. Your bus will highly likely be a black van with "Elegant Irish Tours" written on the side in silver. “ There was NO vehicle at the port to pick us up and eventually we ended up on a 24 person bus at max capacity. It does say in the fine print on the website that it could be up to 24 people. There was no communication before the tour about where they would pick us up (all instructions were for Cobh) and no response when I contacted them afterwards at 3 different email addresses, hoping for some resolution. From the start, it was stressful and we did not get half of the promised itinerary. If they could not provide the promised tour, they should have communicated that to us so that we could make other arrangements. Our shipmates who paid far less for the large bus tour ended up with a much better value. Instead of running this tour from Ringaskiddy, they attempted (and failed) to fold us into a tour from another ship in Cobh. The vehicle sent to pick us up was not a proper tour vehicle, so it was not allowed into the port. We were allowed to “tag along” on Paul’s large bus to meet up with our intended tour at Blarney. Paul very helpfully connected us with Gabriel and his bus who already had a plan that had been communicated to them on the way to Blarney, none of which was communicated to us. There was no tour through Cork as promised. We participated in the distillery tour but were shocked at the end to discover that instead of the comfortable tour bus, tour through Cork, and time for sightseeing in Cobh, a taxi would arrive 30 minutes AFTER the bus left. We would be taken directly to Ringaskiddy with the other two passengers from our ship in a taxi that we could barely squish into with total strangers. Leaving us behind with a promise that a ride would come was stressful and beyond unacceptable. I understand that the port at Ringaskiddy is not optimal, but if they could not provide the tour promised, they should have informed us of that so we could make other arrangements. This was our only chance to see Cobh or Cork, we cannot get that back. When I contacted them for a refund, they ignored it until I posted a review on google, then responded with excuses and a refusal, saying a tour was provided. Yes, a lousy, stressful and very expensive tour that did not provide what was promised.

A nicer option would have been to visit the Burren caves or Bunratty Castle vs just the pit stop or drive by. The ride back was long but nice touch with the Irish music. The tour guide/bus driver was great. Thank you Brian!
Stop at the Cliffs was just long enough. Did not need the added lunch stop, (company restaurant/cash grab) could have picked something at the Cliffs cafe. First Ireland tour, we usually do it all on our own, will choose other stop options if we ever tour again.

Purchased 6 tickets for the small bus tour of the Cliffs of Moher for the 26th of August. When we arrived at the pick up location we were told that the small bus was not in service. The tickets for the small bus tour was $129.00 and the regular tour bus was $75.00. I have sent 2 emails requesting to be refunded $54 for each ticket we bought for the small bus tour. Is there anyone out there that thinks Paddywagon made this right? No, they did not. They won't even respond to the emails sent. PSA DON'T USE PADDYWAGON.

It was a fantastic day! Such excellent value for money as we did so much—more than I could have imagined. We went to the dark hedges, took photos of Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-Rede, and Whitepark Bay Beach, spent a lot of time at Giant’s Causeway, ate lunch and explored Ballintoy, and did the Black Cab tour of Belfast. It was phenomenal!

But the tour wouldn’t have been the same without our guide, Richard O’Brien! He was so knowledgeable, willing to answer any questions, and had the best personal anecdotes about his experiences crossing the border into Northern Ireland. 10/10, five stars and a million thumbs up! Thank you, Richard!

I would highly recommend this tour! But even more, I’d recommend any tour with Richard!

Brian our guide was wonderful. His humor and the history of the country were both appreciated. We went to Blarney’s Castle, Cobh (saw Titanic exhibit - make sure to buy tickets in advance), had lunch in Kinsale, and the Fort Charles. So many pictures taken today, so many picturesque places, squeezed in a lot of locations in a good amount of time. I would absolutely take this tour again when I return to Ireland and it was simply a wonderful, interesting and great time for me and my 2 teenagers. Mini bus was grear and has USBs under the windows. Clean, comfortable, A++

I was on the paddy wagon tour from Dublin to Giants Causeway. Just after we departed Giants Causeway a tractor hit the bus and blew out every window. Although the tractor was mainly to claim the bus was over the line. After this accident everyone of the 52 was covered in glass. The crash happened at 2.30 and after taking us to a local pub ( where we had to pay for our own food) it took 5.5 hrs for one bus arrived to take half of us and the second didn’t arrived till 9.30!!! We were covered in glass from head to toe. Overall we arrived back at midnight instead of 8pm, and entirely missed one stop promised on the trip. When asked for a refund PaddyWagon refused and failed to take any responsibility for their lack of response following the accident.
