"I've just returned from my best vacation ever, 2 weeks in Ireland, with the international potter's group (ICAN), arranged by Francis at Bonner travel, for 22 travellers. There were both potters attending workshops and non-potters on our tour of the Emerald Isle, so alternate activities were arranged for workshop times. Francis rose to the challenge of herding so many cats and went beyond expectations to ensure enjoyable experiences were had by all. Frances kept us very informed, advised and entertained during our excursions. She had the best cuisine recommendations, shops to visit and assistance with reservations for our unplanned time. Our tour driver was very knowledgeable about the highways and byways and got us safely and very comfortably shuttled around, from Dublin to Kinsale and the Wild Atlantic Way, with sights to be enjoyed off the beaten path. Our tour was a perfect mix of scheduled itinerary vs spontaneous opportunity, (such as the hilarious and spooky premier return of the Kinsale Ghost tour from Covid hiatus). Our tour would have been a good value at twice the price, for the memories and new friends made. I didn't want to leave Ireland when it was time to go. I'm planning to return soonest. Bonner Travel will be the first call I make to arrange a much longer stay." Colette

Hello Colette, Thank you for the great review. I was delighted to meet all the Potters and you were lovely. It was a good tour, despite the obstacles from a Post Covid hospitality sector and I promise you an even better tour next time around. Take care and keep on potting!! Frances

Our guide Amanda was great. We learned some interesting history and all of the food stops were delicious. Our favorites were in the market, especially the seafood (absolutely amazing). I also appreciated the non-food history stops and facts, it felt like a little bonus. Would easily recommend the tours to others. Also, I was unable to book this tour through TripAdvisor because we didn't have a full size group, but I contacted Bonner Travel directly through their website and they were very accommodating and responsive. Easy to book direct if you just have 2 or 3 people.

The Cork Culinary tour was great! Our tour guide Amanda was very friendly and knowledgeable and an amazing singer. We really enjoyed the sights including a quick visit to the Crawford Art Gallery and the English Market especially the cheese tasting and seafood platter. Highly recommend it!

My partner and I visited Ireland in September and thoroughly enjoyed a culinary tour of Cork. It was a small group with just one other couple and the guide (Val). She was very knowledgeable about Irish history, culture, the city and obviously the food. Given we were such a small group it gave us a lot of opportunity to learn more about Cork as we went from one location to the next. We started off with an Irish coffee and ended with Irish stew and Guinness in one of the oldest pubs in Cork. The English Market was one of the highlights and we tasted sausages, cheeses, fresh oysters and fish, fresh local produce and chocolates. We were able to converse directly with the vendors and heard many stories about the market and how long they’d been in operation. Overall, it was a very enjoyable tour and one that foodies to Cork should consider.

Absolutely incredible day with Francis!! She is so knowledgeable, personable and knows all the best places to eat. Spending time with her was as though you have known her for years. The food was absolutely delicious and all from local vendors. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. You cannot come to Ireland and not book this tour. Cannot recommend it enough! Thank you Francis for such a memorable day and experience!
