Really upsetting experience today. I come here often, Staff are friendly and it’s usually a wonderful and relaxing experience. I find it great for pain and stiffness.
Unfortunately today it was very noisy - a couple laughed and joked, splashing around in the hydrotherapy pool through out my time there. It is difficult when you travel there especially and use this as a form of pain relief to then not get the experience advertised. Staff did communicate the noise complaint with the couple but the noise issues only got worse after this. When you closed your eyes all you could hear was two youngsters laughing and splashing like you are in your local swimming pool.
I had to leave and was refunded - but no other compensation was put in place. I asked if this could happen if I returned and to my disappointment there was no guarantee that this couldn’t happen again. While I understand this is not a regular occurrence, this was a very unfair situation with no actual resolution.
It wouldn’t be fair to recommend this to others who are looking to use the vitality suite for a release from pain and stress.
The company advertise it as tranquil haven “Our aim is to provide our guests with a tranquil haven and each corner of our hotel has been designed to exude luxury.” So it is difficult to understand how this was allowed to happen today.
Possibly should consider having separate slots for those looking to genuinely relax and those looking for a bit of fun.
Local swimming pool is €10 this experience is €30 and unfortunately it seems to be the luck of the draw on whether it will add to stress or take it away.

The treatment was amazing, the place inside is an oasis for relaxation. However the booking page on the website is outdated and cause confusion. I booked for 2 people a treatment with lunch included at once but they thought it was just for one person so we had to move the schedule for the lunch and the treatments. Plus, for the same exact price, the lunch was a simple choice on a menu compared to a bird cage meal that my friend had 2 months ago as you can see on the pictures. It was quite disappointing.

My partner and l booked a spa day at the Imperial Hotel, we were both together when it was booked and specified a specific date and time. The day before l rang to double check the time and ask about covid restrictions. They had no record of our booking and had instead booked us in for a date a week later when neither of us were available. We weren't impressed at the customer service we recieved, particularly as l had a similar incident a few years earlier when l booked a facial and when l turned up they had no record of my booking.

Very disappointing overall experience. We booked this for a relaxing day while on midterm break from school. This was far from relaxing. The very small fitting room was completely overcrowded with eight women in the room at once all waiting to use one working shower and one toilet. This spa experience was not cheap and we certainly didn’t get an experience we paid for. Certainly wouldn’t return again.

From the moment we were met in reception we had such the best day. The girl in reception was so nice. And settled us in very quickly. The pool and steam rooms were nice, and the relaxation room is really cosy. I had the signature healing massage, and my masseuse Debbie was just amazing. She was very pleasant, and made me feel at ease straight away. She could tell before she even touched me where i needed work, and when she got started I could feel every bit of her experience. One of the best workouts I had in a long time. My shoulder thanks her...
One downfall, I would have with this spa is the lack of toilets, ( only one ) and their change room is a little snug, but didn't take away from place one bit.

I got a back of body massage from Debbie which was amazing. Debbie made me feel very comfortable and intuitively knew which areas to focus on just by looking at me. She seems extremely knowledgeable and experienced in her field. Would highly reccomend.

This was an an average to below average experience especially for the price. I booked a midweek package which I double checked on the website was priced at 1.5 hrs. My appt was at 4 pm and I’m back in my room now at 5:30….when my appt should be ending but I’ve had relaxation room, changing and walking back. The ladies changing room has a terrible odor with limited amenities, threading towels, and threading robes. As an esthetician myself, the overall experience was ok and as noted, short. For 185 Euro, my I expected far better. Overall a big disappointment.

Had the most relaxing time here. Would highly recommend Niamh for a Fire and Ice treatment, best massage I've experienced so far and she was so friendly and explained the whole process thoroughly. Will definitely be asking for her again!

I had an amazing experience at Escape Spa in Morgan Street, Cork City today. It is a complete oasis in the city centre. I had a wonderful therapist, Niamh, who left no stone unturned to ensure I had a memorable experience. She was absolutely thorough in delivering my treatments and used her extensive knowledge to explain everything to me. I will definitely be back.

My friend and I went for the a la carte package this week and we couldn't have been any more pleased with our experience.
From the moment we set our feet into the hotel lobby we were made feel very welcome. The receptionist explained where to get parking nearby and the concierge was also very kind and took us to the restaurant and then the entrance of the spa.
The package is broken down in 3 parts, lunch, pool and the treatment. The food was incredible, we had some lovely mocktails and then went to the pool.
Niamh, the masseuse who looked after me, was just the most knowledgeable, sweetest, kindest and the most caring person ever. I didn't feel the hour pass and left wishing I had booked a much longer session.
I guess some people are just made for their jobs and Niamh is one of them. Thank you so much for everything and for the explanations during the treatment which made me feel very comfortable and aware of the process.
I have recommended it to all my friends and i am certainly coming back, I just hope I can be looked after by Niamh again. Thank you, love!
