Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic collect of work by Cork based local crafts people. This is run like a co-operative. Craft standards are very high. Worth visiting on a monthly basis as crafts people change/ rotate on a monthly basis. Keep an eye out for the Home exhibition in Kinsale during craft month every August. Something for every budget and for people who appreciate skill, design and craft. If you want throw away things made in sweat shops then this isn't the place for you.

What a delight to have a look around the Cork Craft & Design. The best of Cork's craft in jewellery, woodwork, ceramics, wool, felt and beyond. With something beautifully crafted to fit every pocket, you really can get something very special for yourself or as a gift. I love nothing better than seeing what new items them have in stock. And what a great way to support local artisans to continue their work.

A gorgeous shop. It's wonderful to see so many Cork made crafts represented! I bought a beautiful set of unique greeting cards that I can't wait to use.

Spotted the exhibition at Cork airport. Superb crafts on display. Bought a few pieces. Only sorry I didn't have a bigger case to take more home. Excellent craftsmanship. Will have to return to Cork to pick up some more.

This is a gem of a shop selling some fantastic unique and bespoke pieces. This enterprise supports local makers and is a delight from the moment you cross the threshold. There is such a wonderful variety of pieces that would bring joy to both the giver and receiver. There is a huge range of gifts to suit all pockets. Highly recommended.

We came across this by chance but it was a bit of serendipity. It is often difficult to find a good range of crafts from different makers. Most of the bigger craft shops all have ththe same thing. This is a display area in the Dougkas shopping centre so easy parking and easy shopping!

What a fabulous find this shop is !
I was visiting Cork for the first time in years and a friend and I went out for a days shopping. I was anxious to buy something 'of Cork' to bring home to my family and the hotel receptionist suggested we visit this shop. It is a little bit tucked away in what appears to be an industrial estate but the shop itself was amazing and stocked exactly what I wanted i.e. only Cork made gifts !!
We met a lovely lady called Niamh who was a jeweller herself and part of the collective. She couldn't have been more helpful. Apparently the shop is run on a cooperative basis and the makers all take turns working in and displaying their work in the shop. Its excellent. Lots of variety and something for every budget - I'll defiantly be back - well done Cork ! This is a great place!

I often visit Cork Craft & Design when looking for gifts for family and friends. I love buying gifts that are crafted locally and I love browsing through all the wonderful crafts and jewellery available. The new location in Douglas Woollen Mills is convenient with parking outside and has a good selection of gifts at a range of prices. I have always been happy with my purchases, especially the ones I treated myself with 😊
