Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

This is our second time visiting Leahy's, and we enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I felt it was not as good as last time we visited (pandemic time). It's a shame you get only 1 ticket for the barrel ride. Last time, you could go as much as you wanted. The animals seemed limited too this time, which I didn't understand. The ice-cream cafe/shop was grea, and the little softplay area nice (although the ballpit could do with way more balls!). Overal, it was a nice day but for us not as good as before.

Okay, so my son is 5, we love leahys. However the Santa Experience was brutal. Waiting outside in a queue for 20 mins the weather was baltic. Got Inside to a shed that had a crib, waited another 10 mins, too many adults and children, onto another shed that had 1 slide on a bale of hay, waited another 10 mins, not enough interaction with kids, it was cringe and cold, Santa himself was a joy, the gift was cheap broke by the time we got home. The kids meal which consisted of 4 nuggets and about 10 chips was €8.50 no drink in that. Everything in there was soooooo over priced, never again.

Visited Leahy’s today for my little girls birthday for the Boo Experience. Wow we were not disappointed, from beginning to end it was just a fabulous albeit spooky experience. I have visited Leahy’s many times & it never ever disappoints. We had lunch in the restaurant which was absolutely scrumptious, from there we went across for some utterly delicious ice cream in the chocolate factory. The Boo experience was thrilling right from the get go. We mostly enjoyed the ride through the haunted forest, the wolf in the forest was a big hit with my lot & a big shout out to Tommy the driver who played a spooktacular part in the whole event. We spent a full 5 hours of action packed fun at Leahy’s, from the super new playground to pet timing in the barn. I cannot recommend this place enough for the best day out ever. I have to add the staff just go above & beyond to make Leahy’s farm such a special day out. Can’t wait to come back for more happiness, fun & laughter 🙂🙂

Myself, my husband, and our 12 years old daughter spent today on the Leahys farm. absolutely amazing!!! I was very skeptical as I had a different idea about spending this day but my daughter is an animal lover and she loves to visit places like this so, of course, she want to go to Leahys farm as from her perspective this farm stands out from others similar places in cork , and she was right ! so many attraction for kids, such a lovely place in many ways. I and my husband had probably as much fun as our little one. staff was lovely, there was a young guy in his 20s can't remember his name ( slightly curly blond ginger hair) he was really friendly and of course a special shout out to Susan !! oh god, absolutely amazing lady !! she found a few min to tell the story about the farm and she really made this visit amazing !!
thank you Susan you are an asset to this lovely farm! we will definitely come back in the future !
keep up the good work guys!

Great day out on trip to Cork loads for kids to see and do. Nice amount of animals and plenty of activities from crazy golf to indoor play area go carting and large playgrounds. Also great for kids to get to drive a real digger with limited controls for bucket only. Great day cafe slightly expensive though

Super day out for the family. Our 2.5 and 4.5 year old loved it and so did us parents. So much to see and do, lots of surprises. We stayed for about 6 hours. Highly recommend. Hats off to the staff. Friendly and brought all the fun. Farmer Matt was brilliant. Thanks all.

Excellent experience with all the activities on the farm. 2 kids aged 4 and 5 and both parents had an absolute ball. Brilliant experience with only one major bad point. At the end of the day we got food in the restaurant, which cost over 50 euros and was very very disappointing. Kids got nuggets and chips which looked tiny on the plate (very few chips) and the nuggets were obviously cheap as they were almost inedible. Adult meals were marginally better but no where near value for money.

We went to Leahy’s Open farm as a family day out, which had been highly recommended to us, and it certainly lived up to its expectations! The animals, live diggers, the barrel train and the big drop slide were the absolute highlight!! All the staff are amazing and so friendly and they even made the smallest of toddlers who were scared of animals very settled. We tucked into lunch before we went around the park (which was a good choice as plenty of energy was burned off) and it was really good! The ice cream and the chocolate factory was a lovely treat at the end! Thanks again, we had a great time!!
