We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We heard the music as we passed the door and decided to drop in. A great decision. It's a small pub with huge atmosphere. There were some musicians playing traditional music who were very good. You could have a conversation and still listen to the music. The barmaid was welcoming and was helpful to some tourists who were looking to get Pcr tests for their flights home. I would highly recommend a visit here.

Used this place as a bit of a base while we were here. Traditional Irish pub with traditional music. Great atmosphere and a cracking pint of Guinness.
Opened late which was also an advantage as none of us wanted to leave

A cabbie told us that this pub has the best Guinness in Ennis. Is this possible? We decided to do some research. Our bar tender at the Diamond explained that they keep the barrel near the tapper. (Although, he was careful not to put down the neighboring pubs.) All this to keep a shorter line for the dark beer to travel and avoid contamination. The place, the bar tender and everything else was charming. The Guinness tasted the same to me but we enjoyed the research.

I was recommended this pub by a friend who used to live in Ennis. On both visits it has been a nice quiet snug to get away from the busyness of travelling. Seems like a place the locals enjoy too!

We visited the Diamond bar while on a holidays in Doolin. The staff were the nicest people we met for entire break away. The soup, brown bread and toasted sandwiches were so tasty. Best soup we have had in along time and great value for money.

Lovely comfy bar with extremely friendly bar staff. Girl behind the bar recommended places to go and was very helpful as it was our first time in Ennis.

Visited with a friend on a mid week evening and seemed fine at first. Friendly staff. Then a big ugly bloke who had heard our accents sat beside us , uninvited, as we watched the football and asked what part of the north we were from. Asked us then what our political persuasion was. When we politely changed the subject he told us the only prod he liked was Joey Dunlop. He started to get upset that we would not reveal our backgrounds so we decided to leave rather than get into an altercation. What a moron. Not a great start to our first visit to Clare!
