Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Shannon Estuary Way Tretreat Centre is an oasis of peace and tranquility. Both the regular yin yoga classes and special events like Yin & Sonic and Serenity Unveiled leave me feeling revitalised and calm - pure bliss!
Rosie is one of those rare people whose presence is calming, uplifting and energising. She leads her events in a gentle way that allows everyone space to fulfill their particular needs without judgement. I would highly recommend any of Rosie's events or classes - I always come away feeling happier and more centered than when I arrived

Talk about 5 star treatment. This place is just super amazing. I went for the yin and tonic which is a yin yoga practise with a group. The very warm welcome we all got by owner Rosie is just gorgeous. She sits calmly and offers people herbal teas, water or proteins balls whilst we wait for the others to join. Her retreats is bright, clean and very tastefully decorated. It's a joy to sit there. When everyone arrives, she brings us upstairs to the most fabulous yoga studio and brings us through yoga shapes with her gentle encouraging voice. I fell asleep half way through, and may have been drooling when I woke eventually. It was just what I needed. The most peaceful rest. When it was over, Rosie told me that because it was my birthday as my partner had told her when booking in, I could go for a hot tub, sauna and cold plunge pool flowed by a massage. Now this was pure magic. I was an hour going from hot to cold. Rosie came out at one stage with some water for me to drink- literally just when I needed it. She's very intuitive. Everything I used was so immaculate. And I felt so lucky to be there on this unbelievably beautiful land which looks out over the River Shannon from the hot tub. After ALL OF THAT, I go for my massage and to add to it all, she had the best hands ever. I wouod have fallen straight to sleep again if I hadn't been so rested from the yin. But I got a perfect sleep that night from all the R&R I received in Shannon estuary way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. 👌 its magic. Treat yourself.

I did the 2 hour restorative yoga on the 1st evening the Shannon Estuary Retreat Centre in Ballynacally opened & it was absolute bliss. It is a beautiful space, with beautiful energy and I felt amazing afterwards. I intend to return again and again. I would recommend it to everyone. It gives you 2 hours of pure relaxation. Rosie is an amazing yoga instructor and you leave just wanting to go back. The little touches like offering massage oils to enhance your yoga experience and beautiful chocolate and fruited infused water for you after shows how much thought Rosie puts into all her sessions. I loved every minute of my experience there. You have to book and experience it for yourself

Rosie’s Restorative yoga leaves you floating on fluffy clouds.
Amazing welcoming energy once you arrive,
The studio space is peaceful, still and surrounded by sensational views.
Rosie guides you into a lullaby of calm where you completely switch off and move into another world.
Restorative Yoga should be Mandatory for all at the end of every week allowing you unwind and refocus your mind.

I am completing my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Shannon Estuary Way Retreat and I cannot recommend it enough. The atmosphere is so relaxed that every course day feels like a retreat day. We cover a lot of content during each day but it never feels pressured or too much. There is always lots of practical application of learning which means you are leaving feeling confident with the new knowledge you have. Rosie is constantly asking for feedback to ensure the course is tailored to each persons needs. I would highly recommend this setting for any training.

I have attended a number of Restorative Yoga evenings with Rosie previously, so was delighted to sign up the inaugural evening at her beautiful new yoga retrea space in Ballynacally! It really is a very special space, purpose built, with amazing views over the Shannon Estuary Way. The Restorative Yoga session itself was amazing, deeply relaxing & very enjoyable and I left feeling so relaxed and restored. I look forward to attending future sessions & I wish Rosie all the best in her new venture which I'm sure will be a huge success!

I recently completed the 6 week ‘Heal yourself’ course at Shannon Estuary Way Retreat. Rosie explained the healing process in a very interesting way and was available to answer any questions and provide support when needed. Rosie’s professionalism and calmness makes you feel at ease straight away. The six different treatments each week were fabulous. My last treatment was the hot/cold therapy, this was truly amazing. I would highly recommend Shannon Estuary Way Retreat and look forward to returning.

This place is magical, I have been several times for yoga, sound baths, the outdoor icebaths and hot tub! I have gone on my own and at different times I have gathered along friends and family (who now equally love any excuse to visit this place).

Separate to my own leisure trips there I have also been lucky enough to take part in some trainings and have since had qualifications that are today a core part of my own business.

The trainings are comprehensive, yet all broken down into easy to digest segments, Rosie is so good at reading the room and understanding where we are all at and what is needed at that time, whether that be a good shake off, breathing or a break for some food (which is so deliciously, I have never come away without feeling so satisfied, and nourished).

The approach here is inclusive, a safe space to learn and ask questions and gain so much knowledge. I have always come away with way more than I expected. In my experience from the two trainings I have done (so far) they have gone above and beyond to support students all the way through (not just the day(s) you are there) and for long after you graduate. There is something special about any family business but the guys at The Shannon Estuary Way Retreat really practice what they preach.

I would highly recommend this beautiful space for training. Growing in all ways seems to happen naturally the minute you park up and spend some time there 👍🏻🙏

Instant joy the second you arrive, I have been to many retreats at the Shannon Estuary Way. Michael and Rosie are absolutely outstanding in everything they do, from the extraordinary views, the instant feeling of calm when you arrive and all the hidden touches. Book yourself in you will not regret it, you will guarantee to float out of there and leave in a cocoon of complete calm! It’s a truely magical place!

Training through the Shannon Estuary Way Academy provides that supportive & nurturing training you have been searching for.

Set within the scenic Shannon Estuary Way, Rosie & Michael provide a safe space, with wholesome food, that facilitates this ease of learning. Rosies style of guiding & developing your specific journey makes the academy accessible to all levels.

I come away after each weekend feeling the benefits of a retreat, while deepening my learning; recharged & nurtured, amongst friends.

I certainly have found my place and will be continuing my studies through this piece of heaven.
