Was planning on doing cliffs alone but given the predicted weather conditions, I decided to sign up for this tour instead to have some guidance. Communication with Ollie was fantastic, even on the day off. My bus was running a few mins behind but he was so kind as to not leave me behind! Our tour guide was Lee (or is it Leigh?). She was so great as well, very knowledgeable, and just a lot of fun to be around. We had a large age range in our group and yet she was able to chat with everybody equally, both in terms of making sure to touch base and chat with each of us and also speak at our level. I highly recommend this tour!

It was the rainiest day yet, but Ollie provided a much needed ray of sunshine. He adeptly altered our itinerary to include some authentic experiences where we stopped at shops and eateries and had wonderful conversations and food with locals. We then braved a boat ride to an island, ate delicious scones and gabbed with more locals. We rode a tractor pulled viewing room on wheels around and saw the island sights, including a saint’s tomb, a sinking church, and even a shipwreck. We ate lunch took a soaking boat ride back and sadly Ollie dropped us off at our air bnb in Galway. We missed him immediately! Ollie’s knowledgeable, charming, witty and charismatic manner made you feel instantly at ease. I would highly recommend Ollie’s tours to anyone looking to spend the day, morning, or afternoon with the best kind of people!

We (adult and three kids aged 10,13 and 16) did the Aran Islands bike tour to Inis Oirr, and our local guide Siodhmhaith was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the islands and she even fixed my daughter’s bike when the chain came off!
I would not have enjoyed the island as much without her - her little local stories brought it closer, and her tips on good selfie locations and angles was superb. She then took us to Una’s for scones and again a lovely chat with Una about the Aran Islands knitting was just so interesting. Siodhmhaith is worth her weight in gold, couldn’t recommend her and the tour more - amazing day out!

We booked 5 people on the Cliffs of Moher walking tour from Doolin and we all thought it was fantastic. It is a real must do and we would not change anything.

Pat was our guide who was so personable, passionate and informative. He covered detail that otherwise without a guide you would miss.

It was such a pleasure to see the Cliffs this way.

We booked a private tour of Inisheer on bikes for me, my husband and two kids, 5 & 8 years old. Our tour guide, Connor, was fantastic and I would highly recommend anyone to specifically ask for him. He made our day so enjoyable and stress free.

He suggested our “itinerary” for the tour which I hugely appreciated. Some tour guides kind of punt it to you and I’ve been needing a break from making decisions. He quickly got us bikes, brought us to the ship wreck while also stopping to give us a great explanation of the history of the island, farms, rock walls etc. We saw the lake and sunken church and castle and finished off with fantastic scones.

Conor was a delight to be around and very knowledgeable. I’m so glad we did this instead of self guided. I’m also glad we did bikes instead of the pony and trap.

We really enjoyed our Cliffs of Moher coastal walk, Ollie is an excellent guide. The fact that two, ten year olds boys didn’t complain once is a testament to Ollie’s abilities to entertain. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Ollie’s tours is a truly brilliant and unique experience, and highly recommended. We took the food tour from Doolin. Ollie, who himself gives the tours, is energetic and blessed with a very Irish sense of humour, and the perfect host to the tour.

Of course a food tour is about the food too, and being in Doolin, we get to try the best of Irish seafood. The smoked salmon at the Burren smokehouse is delish, as are the fish and chips and cheese tasting.

But Ollies Tours go further than your average food tours. Ollie introduces us to some great characters along the way, especially at the beer tasting. This is a tour that you’ll not only leave full, you’ll leave laughing. A great way to spend an afternoon when in Clare or Doolin.

Next time we will be joining Ollie to see the Cliffs of Moher from his point of view.

A tour we will remember for a lifetime! Ollie helped plan our engagement at the Cliffs of Moher. He was an amazing tour guide who went out of his way to make this special day even more magical. Ollie's upbeat, easy going spirit made him a pleasure to be around - even when climbing 45+ flights of stairs on our Cliffs of Moher hike. He's a great storyteller and I have no doubt that all of his guides provide unforgettable tours. We highly recommend Ollie's Tours!

We booked a Cliffs of Moher tour with Ollie’s Tours for the 8km guided hike. We’re very happy we did this instead of the bus tour to the visitor’s center; you’d miss out on so much and just get stuck with crowds.
The hike with Tommy was excellent! He shared stories along the way about history, lore, politics, and the land, and pointed out the good spots for photos. The trail was solid and stable (fortunate that weather was dry), not crowded, had breath-taking views, and a couple of steep inclines. We started in Doolin and went north-to-south, ending at the visitor’s center for a 5 mile total route. Ollie started us off with stories during the drive to and from Galway, and is a fine host. He runs a good company with good people.
