I visited Custys as it is one of the most famous trad music shops in Ireland. Their selection of CDs is unrivalled for trad. There was also books of Irish music and instruments. Even a music class upstairs. A must visit for all fans of Irish traditional music

Great little music shop in Ennis. There is a wonderful selection of Irish music, along with instruments if that is your interest. The owner was great in providing information on the local traditional music scene in Ennis, and provided me with a list of pubs to visit to hear the music. Drop by if in Ennis and get first hand information on where to have a pint and listen to great music. Met a local pipe player, Blackie O'Connell while in the shop and caught later on in 2 places, great music he plays.

John provided two quality guitars with strings and capo at a very reasonable price.
Returned to him in two weeks.

Love going here and having a look around. I go for guitar strings and end up with lots more bits. They've nice books and lively musical equipment too.

This shop sells a wide range of instruments, cds, cases, book and other items associated with traditional music. It is great, and the prices are decent. I would recommend a visit here.

John gives you the lowdown on Irish Gaelic music and steered us in the right direction for a music session at Brogan's that night. He gave good recs and we enjoy the CDs he suggested.

A wonderful little music shop. The proprietor is a very interesting guy, fun to talk to, and learn about the local musical scene. Definitely drop in.

Our trips to Ireland would not be complete without a visit to Custy's, where John's expect advice on quality CDs of new and old Irish music allows us to purchase music for our travels through the countryside. if you are a musician or a keen fan of Irish music then you have probably visited this shop already.
