You can easily get lost in this beautiful forest at the back of the Dromoland estate. Nice combination of nature and history. Recommended!

Stayed in Shannon and came across this fort by chance. AMAZING. It is ancient and full of treks where the kids could get lost in time. It was free to enter and there were no other visitors the day we visited. Well worth the time...More
