The visitor centre is free of charge and has some interesting displays on the origins of the park and there is a café and gift shop. Coffee is very good although a bit expensive, a tiny little courtyard out the back is nice to sit in when weather permits. Lovely walks through the woods along side the river. There is... More

Not much too see although when linked to the history of the Dukes of Hamilton and aware of the local landmarks it is worth a visit. Lovely cafe.

Went here mid week for a good walk, we practically had the trails to ourselves. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Our dog loved every minute. Did the whole way around in about 2 hours. Can't wait to go back.

My niece had her wedding in this venue, Stunning place. Food was fantastic , staff great. so friendly and made you feel so welcome. The staff could not do any more for you. I am a vegetarian and the food was lovely.

The views are amazing day and at night and this place is also a wedding venue would be lovey to have that view in pictures of your special day. only issue i have is dog walkers allow there dogs to run free and they just walk onto the road when vehicles are moving and the owners shout at drivers

This is such a lovely place for a good walk. You can spend hours in and around this location. If you have children there is a park with swings and the all round things you find in the park. In the restaurant you can get a lovely bowl of soup and a coffee.

Just had my baby shower here and it was lovely. Venue was beautiful and the afternoon tea was delicious. Staff were extremely helpful, even loading up my car with presents. Had a great afternoon and want to say a massive thank you to the staff for helping to make it so special.

Chatelrault is a great place to spend the day with the family if the sun is out, however not somewhere I would visit in the winter months, the playpark is a great size however it is getting very dated with some things not working and others looking very used. In the castle the small visitor attraction and café are ok... More
