Whilst staying in Ayr decided to visit pool for a swim, but although there is an impressive entrance to the building the changing rooms and pool were very disappointing. As a keen swimmer I always try to swim regularly but although I will be in Ayr for a couple more weeks I will not be using this pool again. Firstly... More

Attended to use the swimming pool with wife and 5 month old child. 6.80 to let the wee man swim, including adults, which hardly encourages children to participate in an active lifestyle. The baby pool was shut. As usual. The diving pool was the only option, but impossible to get into with a baby if your by yourself due to recessed... More

Started badly, ten minutes to buy admission ticket, due to only one person being on. Could only use gym as pool was closed for another two hours, thought price was expensive, as although cardio gym machines are good, changing rooms are grubby and badly need updating. Staff when you find them are pleasant and knowledgeable. Overall, poor badly thought out and laid out... More

Pool is a basic pool. Gym is good but hecka Spense. Also the weight machines are in a different room to the cardio so it makes folk that are self conscious about using the weight machines feel like they can't go in that room. Sauna steam room is filled with old people. Right awk.

This houses a very good large swimming pool along with all the other facilities that you would expect in a top class establishment there are various courses for a lot of activities that are held there

Council have just spent money upgrading the gym - which was long overdue. Unfortunately this has not included an upgrading of the male dry side change and shower facility. The changing room is disgusting, the floors in the shower area are dirty. Often the drains on the floor do not drain water away. The showers are inadequate and there are... More
