Very pleasant area next to the seaside, ideal place to spend some leisure time before or after exploring the old town of AYR, best to sit out and enjoy one of the local fish and chip outlets.

Seems less welcoming now with bollards all round it and multi coloured benches right in the middle of the grass where we used to kick a ball growing up. Ayr council do a great job of destroying Ayr beach and surrounding areas.
