Great small local observatory, we are very lucky to have this in Paisley. If you get the chance go to one of the winter viewing evenings,to have a look out of the telescopes and wonder at the universe.

A building donated by the coats family of paisley to the people of paisley is home to a fantastic historical telescope which is still in use today . visitors get to see the machinery in action .well worth a visit. Limited parking unfortunately.

Clean, well-preserved, passionate / knowledgeable staff, feel welcomed, it is surprised to use a telescope made in 1898 to view the moon. Beautiful, clean building, well-maintained, love the green tiles.

Popped in on a Saturday afternoon for a tour. Staff were kind enough to wait on us as we were a few mins late. Tour guide made it very interesting and were happy to answer any questions. Will definitely come back for stargazing evening.
