Branklyn is a gem. My wife and I visit whenever we come to Scotland and it is always a delight. The plants, the only planting and the colours are beautiful. The sheer variety in such a small site is deeply impressive. Don’t miss it.

Obviously gardens are more attractive in the summer but, even in autumn, the colours of the leaves and the variety of plants and layout is still worth a visit.

Branklyn is a National Trust garden and quite simply offers a selection of plants that no garden centre could hope to emulate. Ever helpful staff and always immaculately presented - obviously a labour of love.

A lovely way to spend a relaxing afternoon, walking around the lovely gardens and enjoying all the beautiful flowers and trees. A nice little café very clean and very friendly service by volunteers. Great plant sale today so picked up some nice bargains.

The gardens are really relaxing and peaceful. It isn't the biggest of gardens but what there is has been beautifully maintained and is definitely worth a visit - especially if you are members of the National Trust as it costs you nothing. We visited in...More

I would say limited. A lot of the paths are suitable but other bits could've quite difficult.

Dogs are not allowed but last I heard they may be tied to the gate if they don’t cause a nuisance.
