I would have given this beach a 5 if it hadn't been for the dogs. The sand is the best I have ever seen but how can you let children handle the sand when the dogs use it as a toilet and the owners make...More

We found a free car park just next to the beach, with a helpful map. We strolled along the beach, watching the birds, then explored the harbour and spent time photographing the seal playing just by the entrance. The locals were friendly too

Lovely beach, made for walking. Wide beach, clean sand, never-ending views. We also walked up along the river into the town, was very impressed with Nairn. Moving to Scotland in 3 years, and Nairn is now at the top of our list of desired locations!

This is a lovely wild beach and great for a walk in any weather. Lots of dog walkers too, nice to see a spot where dogs are allowed off the lead!

This beach is lovely and the water is so clear. Just off the beach is a cafe, park and toilets so very good for family visits. We will definitely visit again.
