Enjoy a full-day of stunning scenery and fresh Highland air, as we travel all the way around Loch Ness and along the idyllic West Coast. Our journey reveals ancient ruins, a poignant war memorial, beautiful beaches and a hidden waterfall – with untamed mountains never far from sight. Not only will you watch the Jacobite Steam Train as it crosses the Glenfinnan Viaduct, you will later hop aboard and experience it for yourself. Made famous by the Harry Potter films, and voted one of the world’s most scenic railways, this is a trip you’ll never forget!

I don't describe this as epic lightly....it truly is magnificent. Such a expanse of water that stretches for miles. Great is warm weather but wrapped up warm I'm sure it would be quite a special walk in the winter months too. We went to the loch ness exhibition which was surprisingly good. Full of useful information that I would never have learned. Great place, definitely worth a visit.

Loch ness is an amazing place. You'll find it hard to either look at the scenery, or watch out for nessie to make an appearance. Which ever takes your fancy you cannot help but be over powered by the sheer majesty of the place. Urquhart castle makes the vista.... postcard perfect. I was surprised at how being there, effected my soul and the sheer feeling on my senses was so profound. I guess like most of us, i want to believe that there is an ancient creature living in the dark deep waters of the loch. Well, it did'nt say hello while i was there......maybe one day though!.....when i return.

I was able to park right by loch ness, on the road along side it. I was also able to hike right beside it, a little pebble-y so bring aqua shoes or slippers. Good thing I had some. It was such an amazing sight. Loch ness was such a huge lake! Surrounded by mountains! Amazing place to take pictures! Suitable for everyone!

It's quite a long drive up the whole of the Loch but there are a number of good places to stop for photos en route. We were in a bit of a rush so didn't have much time for monster hunting but if we had more we would have happily stopped off for longer looks at the scenery.
