Very friendly driver, who made sure we were safe all the time and with a great historical knowledge. The coach was in perfect conditions. The Highlands is a must see!

Skye Tours half day tour was spoilt by a rude and arrogant driver who allocated seating separating couples and prioritizing a non paying family member. We already had another bad experience with a Skye tour, so we tried another one, what a mistake this was. He was 15 minutes late for the after lunch pick up, no explanation or apology... More

I normally do not do tours, but this is one I highly recommend. I was staying in Inverness and took the morning train to Kyle of Lochalsh where I was picked up by Skye Tours. The van seated about 14 people (perfect size). The first part of the tour is mostly driving with the first stop being Portree, where we... More

Me and two friends were staying on Eilean Ban and decided to have a tour of Skye. This is a must if you want to see most of the island and worth every penny. James (who I believe was a relief tour guide) was great with a wonderful sense of humour and made sure we had plenty of time for... More

Even in the rain the scenery was spectacular. Driver had good local knowledge and was very friendly. Stopped several times at view points for photo opportunity. Worth going on.

We had a tour of Skye. Our driver Marshall spend the first hour or so telling us about Gaelic and how hard done by the islanders were. The next couple of hours continued on this theme with the Highland Clearance. We managed not to slit our throats as the scenery was breathtaking. The stop in Portree was too short, just enough... I am very sorry you didn't enjoy your tour, it is always a terrible experience to get a bad trip adviser comment, and hard for me to rectify the bad aspects of your tour so late after the event. If you are back in the area again can you email me and I will see what I can offer you... More

As part of a trip based on Inverness we booked on the five hour tour with Skye Tours, to join at Kyle of Lochalsh Railway Station, following the scenic train journey from Inverness. This was the third day of our trip using public transport. On arrival at the pickup point, Nothing! The railway people kindly directed us to an "Agent's"... More

I am every so sorry you had a bad experience, it is never our aim to upset people or mess folk about. I gave you a full refund without any qualms and wrote to you twice apologising for the cancellation with three days notice. I assumed that since you were receiving texts you would also be able to get emails,... More

We were promised a five-hour tour but it only lasted four hours. Marshall said that was because pickups along the way take time. We liked the scenery and hearing about the island, though the minivan was cramped. Commentary was a little too deadpan but we did learn things about the history of Gaelic on the island.

This was a small group trip. Alan Oliver the guide was excellent. showing us the beautiful Highlands and the Isle of Skye. He entertained us with some history and legends about the areas we passed through. For me the oppertunity for small walks were just right for the time we had. I especially enjoyed the walk to the fairy pools... More
