We were only young adults, no children. We weren't sure if it was open, but went in anyways. Turns out it was open and free, accepting donations. The Titanic collection is truly impressive, from newspaper cutout, to blueprints, models and a big wooden replica outside. It's worth taking an hour from your time in Inverness to have a look, even... More

Such an interesting place created by a passionate team. I could go back again and again to look at the exhibits and information. Particularly fun for families. Not that accessible for disabled people.

There has clearly been a lot of effort put into creating this museum. It houses an 88ft Model of the Titanic, an old life boat and some other boats which are work in progress. There are photos and old newspaper cuttings about the Titanic and the Cunard luxury liners. Entry is by donation. There is a boat game for children... More

Not so easy to find... walk along the river Ness. Free, but donation welcome. It has toilets, not tested. It has lots of stuff about the Titanic, come things about sea rescue and a video game inside... the kids managed to get hooked on the video game, although it was not a great one - how?!? Outside there are DIY... More

Lovely hidden treasure of a place. Inside is a load of information, bits to play with and clothing to dress up in. Outside are many boats including the scaled titanic, all of which you can climb aboard and take a look. The children loved creating their own adventure stories and could have played for hours. Ok as an adult you... More

We visited this during a short break in the Inverness area with our 4 boys, all 10 and under. This is not your usual exhibition, you are actively encouraged to use and handle everything and although some of the exhibits are a bit tired, the fun the kids had far outweighs that, and to be honest the fact that one... When I first arrived I wasn't sure if it was opened or not. Went with my boys 8 and 11 years old. From the outside it looked derelict and abandoned. Once we went inside throughly enjoyed it, also enjoying climbing onto the different boats. Well worth a visit. My 8 year old got abit freaked out with the sleeping man... More

This "museum" like space is a passionate person gone crazy. It has SO Much to see, of all kinds. Imagine a collection that took over a property. It has to be seen to be understood. Free entry and lots to do. Perfect for children - dress up, games (loved the TurboThunder boat!), exploring and encourages touching displays which is always... More
