Water doesn't get much more mysterious than this 23 mile stretch running through the Great Glen in the Highlands of Scotland. There's no better way to experience Loch Ness than by boat. Jacobite's award winning tours and cruises get you onto the water and into the heart of this iconic landscape. This is a whole lot more than simply sight-seeing. We've been running trips on and around Loch Ness for over 30 years and most of us live here.

We were staying at the Clansman hotel so we're able to get a pre cruise parking space. The whole car park is awash with coaches with cruisers. I spoke to the man organising the parking and he said " you should see the place in...More

Nice boat ride. I was a little surprised they only had a recording. It would have been better if a person was there telling the story. I have done other cruises where the person telling the story makes the whole trip

I have to say that the cruise was fantastic, we sat outside at the stern for all of the trip...why waste the atmosphere by sitting inside...yes it did rain a little but I didn't care at all. I do wish that parents would heed the...More

Great little jaunt down Loch Ness while learning about Scottish history. And then we enjoyed a beer! A great time!

We took the 2 hr Freedom Cruise....a 30 min or so boat ride across the Loch with nice commentary followed by an hour on our own at the castle ruins. Lovely time!

I arrived at Inverness around 1, and hurried back to get my ticket for a tour that would visited Urquhart Castle starting at 2. It was easy to get tickets, and I got a nice seat on a coach bus that took us to a...More

My wife and I took a Jacobite cruise on Loch Ness on our honeymoon last week. We booked a trip that included a stop at Urguhart Castle. The boat was large and had lots of room for sitting inside and out. We enjoyed the stories...More

We had fairly nice weather Just did basic tour. Audio could have been louder and video would have been great instead of constant running ads on the monitors.

My parents and I went on the Loch Ness Cruise Including Urquhart Castle Tour this afternoon. We were picked up from Inverness Bus Station (easy location to get to!) by our driver and guide Ian. Ian kept us thoroughly entertained on the drive to our...More

Maybe the one hour Loch cruise would suit the children. It can be boring and long for the children
