A beautiful Glen. I'd love to walk there. When I visited I was driving.... It's only open at certain times so check it out first!

Entrance is by ticket from the gatekeeper. Beautiful 15 mile drive brought amazing wild countryside. Red deer easily seen. Loch Monar at the far end is spectacular and there is good walking along the shore paths.

This is a hidden gem .The most spectacular scenery you can find, excellent wild life. A good selection of walks / cycling available to suit all. The only down side is midges so go prepared ! But don't let them put you off.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
I can only assume you were there on a Wednesday as we were?? - the Glen opens at 1.30pm on a Wednesday as the lady in the cottage has all day Tuesday and half day Wednesday off. You were obviously unlucky as we have been visitors for a number of years and have been lucky - including this year, to see buzzards and a Golden Eagle as well as a variety of small birds
