The beauty and serenity of the glen never cease to amaze us. The restriction on the number of cars that can visit per day enhances the experience to the point you think you are the only people there, besides the herds of deer.

This is a beautiful place with so much amazing scenery , we spent most of the day climbing and walking the paths , visiting the dam , seeing deer , heron it was fabulous , just make sure you get there before the 20 limit...More

This is a most beautiful Glen ....over 16 miles long ...a long narrow road takes you all the way down to the hydro dam at Loch Monar.....So lovely to get away from the hurly burly of modern life.... Herds of red deer

Glen Strathfarrar is beautiful. There is a single track road that takes you a long way into the highlands past lochs and hills. The road is gated and not more than 25 cars are allowed through each day, which means it is an excellent cycling...More

Amazingly remote and peaceful place a must for any one visiting eagle brae .... easy to access as you can drive the 16 mile stretch and walk as much or as little as you want... be sure to go to the end and back as...More

hi - as I understand it opening hours are as follows but car access is very limited - you're best to walk or cycle. The glen is closed to vehicles all day Tuesday, and closed Wednesday until 1.30pm Daily opening times... More

We turned up at 12 noon the lady came out but said that she could not open the gate. I have never come across anything like this before in Scotland. Do they want tourists or not. Some people travel quite a distance before... More
