A place to see bands downstairs and a dive bar vibe upstairs. Grungy and could do with a lick of paint. Not expensive with a huge range of drinks. Loud music and great for that kind of night out. Service can be slow, but it's busy and understandable. Downstairs venue is small and you're close to the band. It gets... More

Better as a bar than a venue. Music venue gets packed and warm as its downstairs. Loud venue which can take a while to get served at the bar and often seats are limited if going to a spoken performance/ acoustic night. Atmosphere is supportive and generally good. Book tickets in advance as it sells out and they tend to... More

Came with friends for the High Flight night. Have been a few times over the years for different gigs. My friends DJ'd there a while back too. Nice place. Friendly staff. Good location.

Popped in for a drink. Good service by bartender, but the bar was a little scabby looking and would do good with some new furnitures.

Visited during daytime on a weekday, very friendly staff. Good beer and tasty milkshakes. Student vibe, but very welcoming.

Table was sticky to the point my hands we having to be peeled off the table. While trying to order burgers (we heard amazing things about them) the woman at the bar decided to start arguing with me when I tried to remove pineapple from my burger. She tried to persuade me that it goes amazing on the burger and... More

Was at a gig across the road and sent a text to the guys to meet me at Nice n Sleazy so I could escape the rain. As you would expect by the name, a tetanus shot would not go amiss. Bar service was decidedly average and also more expensive than what I would expect for this type of place.... More

In my younger days I played in a band. We played Nice N Sleazy a few times. Always liked it. Many years later I'm back in Glasgow and I decided to go back with my girlfriend to see what it was like. It hasn't changed much! Well, they have table clothes now. It's rough and ready and shabby chic alright... More
