Rated 5 stars by VisitScotland, providing programs of entertaining Science theatre, Planetarium, and around 300 hands-on interactive science exhibits over three floors, to introduce science to everyone. Interaction distinguishes GSC, very few exhibits in glass cases and many opportunities to participate in Science. Included workshops and shows are a highlight, ranging from shadow puppets for youngsters to computer coding, robotics and ethical hacking for adults. "BodyWorks" examines the science behind human health and well-being, "Powering the Future" the future challenges and solutions in our energy-hungry world, and the digital planetarium allows visitors to 'leave earth' and travel through the cosmos. Science Mall admission includes free workshops and shows, with add-on charges of £3.00 for access to the Planetarium. A shop and cafe are free to access. Schools and outreach programs extend the Centre's work into the community. The Centre is a registered charity with surpluses returned to the education mission. Car parking and public transport links or a 15 minute walk along the Clyde from the City centre. The adjacent IMAX cinema is now operated by Cineworld.

Have been a few times now and it is my 4 year old daughter's favourite place to go. So glad we now have passports so we can go as often as we like. I especially love the Little Explorer days. They are amazing! So many activities for kids under 5 but have other workshops for older children too. We were... More

The Science Centre is amazing. There are lots to do and free workshops for kids! There are 3 different floors of amazing things to see and do. There was a show (free) called "Fantastic Forces" and Arwin (I think her name was) was brilliant! She made everyone laugh and was amazing at the experiments. She had everyone's attention the full... Was given tickets to go to the planetarium here on a Saturday night (7pm) for a mini lecture/space tour in the planetarium Wha t a great night. The auditorium was full and had a mix of adult and kids and everyone I heard seemed to enjoy it. Seeing the stars and planets and taking a trip on the ISS. Well... More

Felt that the science centre is over priced for what experience you get. Our favourite part was the planetarium and could not fault this part of our trip (although you do pay an additional fee to go to this). We found that whilst there is some areas of the centre where the equipment seems new, a lot of the facilities... More

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review, and we're very sorry that you felt the experience you had didn't live up to expectations. We've passed your comments on to our front of house teams so that they can let visitors know we have an exciting new exhibit opening so there's a bit of disruption on the first floor... More

My son and I went with my grandchildren age 3, 4 and 6. I was shocked that the cost was £11 an adult and £9 a child ! They did have a ball though most of the things the two younger children couldn't work either too small and couldn't reach or didn't have the strength for others. The passport ticket... More

Took grumpy 12yr old and science loving 8yr old (plus husband) here and we all had a surprisingly brilliant time! We're generally not museum loving people but saw the good reviews and thought, as we were in Glasgow, we'd give it a go. So glad we did! Loads of interactive things for both kids and adults to get involved in.... More

So much choice of interactive and live science, so much to choose from on 3 floors including live science experiments in the ampitheatre, on each floor which have diffferent theme and teaming with interactive ctivities. Cafe could do with a wider choice of odds so take you own food if you gang are fussy eaters and easy cheap parking or... More
