Stunning buildings and gardens. Nice student environment. Very much like the University of Harvard in Boston. Plan your visit for 60-90 minutes. Don't forget your camera and be prepared to remember the old times when you were a student.

The University of Glasgow campus and its old, very old buildings are a must to see place in that city. It can be a 30 min walk or a three hour visit, if your time allows. Talk to the students, take pictures, read the history. It is well worth.

Took a stroll around the campus as we were heading to the Hunterian Museum. As an American, I was amazed by the age of the University. It's older than the United States! Scenes from season 3 of Outlander were filming here during our stay in Glasgow.

The university really does look like Hogwarts and is therefore a really cool place to visit as a Harry Potter fan! Furthermore, it's free and even though I didn't go inside the courtyards offered more than enough beautiful scenery. Also, from up there you have a wonderful view over Glasgow!

Was at the Installation Ceremony for the new Lord Rector Aamer Anwar. The university is steeped in history and was a perfect setting. Bute Hall and the museum gave an insight into what the university has achieved over the years and it would be a pleasure to return.

An hour-long tour of Britain's 4th-oldest University which heralded some very interesting facts. The tour guide was excellent in her knowledge and patient with some younger tourists. Thoroughly recommended, though at 10 pounds per person a little expensive.

...plus a couple of very nice museums, including the MacIntosh house. The older buildings are well preserved and offer a delightful example of...uhhhhh...well, I don't know what sort but OLD architecture. Really really old. And lovely too.
