Great 2 hour walking tour of the city with Laura and Ann-Marie. They were both really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful

Scotland is arguably t he most scenic part of UK. While Ediburgh and surroundings give lots of exploring opportunity to the connoisseur of landscapes and monuments, a visit to Glasgow will showcase the development of Scotland and its heritage. The largest City in Scotland, Glasgow is full of Museums, galleries and Victorian structures. The beauty of the buildings will leave... More

They did not show up! Simple as that. The staff at the Tourist Info Centre told me that they don't always show up. They normally show when there is enough people who previously booked online. However, this is highly unusual for a free walking tour. Also, enough people did show up for the tour, so if the guides showed up,... More

Hi, Glasgow walking tours is no longer running a free walking tour in Glasgow. This stopped on August 1st. This is due to lack of financial support and a terrible summer season due to some really bad weather in June and July. The tourist Office are fully aware of this, So why they told you what they did is a... More

The tour was very interesting and informational. It lasted about 2.5 hours. Our tour guide, Michael, really did spark my interested in Glasgow. He pointed out lots of places as additional things to do in the city. I wish we had stayed longer in Glasgow than we originally planned in order to fit it all in.

I didn't think much of Glasgow until I took the free walking tour with my guide Michael. He was full of information and humor and lead a great, relaxed trip full of tips on what to do. Now I can say that compared to Edinburgh, a nice capital city, Glasgow has a style and culture that makes it unique. Wish... More

Michael was a great guide and tailored our tour to suit the (rainy) weather! The tour goes for 2.5 hours and in that time you learn a great deal about the Glasgow of the past - merchant history etc. Michael gave us some great tips on free things to do in the city and where is worthwhile visiting. Thanks!

This tour has everything: friendly and knowledgeable guide, a fun atmosphere, lots of sights, laughs and excellent value. It's the best way to orientate yourself to getting around the city and get a potted history of a fascinating city and it's people. Only a dummy wouldn't go on the tour! 1 of the best in Europe!! Ben

It was accidentally I picked up a flyer of these tours at my hostel and decided to go there the very next day because I've never been keen on those bus tours. The flyer just kept every promise! It was much nicer to walk to the different places and the tourguide provided a wounderful mixture between entertaining stories and historical... More
