A lovely and quiet place in the heart of the city center. I used to go there with my dog and friends for a relaxing picnic. I enjoyed the sun and the grass and the nice atmosphere.

A lovely green space away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Lots of footpaths to walk along and plenty of open grass to sit and relax along the way. A really lovely place to unwind and for the children to run around...More

Feels very peaceful, so green with tree lined walks, everyone enjoying the sunshine. Lovely coffee shop in the People's Palace A great way to spend an hour or two.

Another one of our magnificent parks. Glasgow is a city surrounded by parks, and more per head than any other city in the UK. Families, cyclists, walkers and just relax on the seats or grass on a beautiful day with a book.

It's probably as Lee J has said. The reason I don't know is that being a resident at Glasgow Green we are usually offered a complimentary ticket for either one of the days.
