Enjoyed it very much. Definitely worth a visit. Exhibits were great including the work by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Could not help noticing who it caters for kids as well.

My partner and I visited this museum in early November during a long weekend stay in Glasgow. The collections at the museum are quite extensive and include not only works of many Scottish artists but also of other international artists, such as Salvador Dahli, whose masterpiece Christ of St. John of the Cross, is one of the main attractions. I hadn't visited Kelvingrove in quite a number of years and my other half had never been. It is a truly amazing place to visit- you could spend all there looking at all the exhibits from stuffed animals to the gloating heads and the jewel in Glasgow's crown - Salvador Dali's "Christ of St John of The Cross" and like... Excellent place to relax yourself or go as a group. Fabulous to discover the artistic side of this otherwise historically fairly industrial city and helps ignite an interest in how our predecessors envisioned these cultural institutions and built them seemingly effortlessly

We spent four hours in the museum. Had lunch n the restaurant downstairs which was great value for money. The museum is spacious and had many exhibitions that are all worth a look.

Visited today, lovely art exhibition about the Glasgow boys. Despite being very busy, the museum is laid out well enough that it does not seem crowded or noisy. I believe this is the best museum I have visited in Scotland.
