I love Kelvingrove park. The perfect place to go on a sunny day when you want to get out the house but don't know what you want to do. It's often busy during the summer but not so much during other seasons. There is a duck pond, fountain, various paths to walk, the river Kelvin, and nice architectural scenery due... More

The Kellengrove Museum is a city treasure for being a community resource for historical, cultural and community education. It was a lovely surprise when we happened to arrive during the organ concert in the central hall. As a tourist visiting Ireland for the 1st time, I learned about the country's progressive history that gave perspective for our trip to Belfast... More

Kelvingrove is a beautiful building with wonderful architecture inside. As you walk inside you are struck by the high ceilings and the organ facing you. In comparison to other galleries and museums, it is fairly compact so you don't feel overwhelmed with the enormity of what to see. We took advantage of the tour at 11.30 on a Friday and... More

Built on a hill with a good playground for kids. If the weather is good, it would be nice to watch the sunset at the top point.

I went pass by the park on my way to the university, it was a sunny spring days, a bit chilly but beautiful day! If you are visiting and have a bit of time to spare, go for a walk or jog around this park, absolutely beautiful! How lucky glaswegians can spend their weekend or leisure time there! You could... My brats were in a rush when we first passed through days ago, and the weather was another obstacle. After a hearty English breakie, we set off for a longer visit enjoying the expansive grounds. The cherry blossoms were in full spring by the beautiful water fountain. Unfortunately it was not running (because of winter?). Cyclists and running groups were... More

Lovely, open space that enables you to walk through the city without being on the roads. We saw people playing quidditch and walking on a rope between the trees. Well-kept, spacious, great escape from the city streets.

Stunning green space easily accessible by bus or underground. Great for joggers, dog walkers & kids just wanting to let off steam. It's perfect for a relaxing stroll with a great panorama of the Glasgow skyline at the top of the hill. Lots of statues, fountains & even a bandstand with occasional outdoor concerts in the summer but my highlight... More

This park is absolutely stunning and transports you to a place far away from the hustle and bustle of Glasgow, Would highly recommend a trip here on a sunny day -and even talk a walk around the art gallery.
