Small, but packed with information, it is a neglected Glasgow treasure. The volunteers are all former police, and they related most positively with us, answering questions and providing supplementary information. The museum is in the Merchant City in a historic building near to the original...More

I had only recently found out about this museum . It contains a history of the first police force in Britain predating London's Peeler's.

Visited the museum today and were welcomed by two very cheery knowledgeable guys. This place really enlightened us and we now know that glasgow was the first place in britain to have a police force!! The memorabilia is amazing and this place is well worth...More

I dont think what is on display would be of a lot of interest to young children. A lot of what is on display requires reading. It is a small exhibition and does not take very long to visit so I dont think thry would be there... More
